Jack Brisco vs Dory Jr. from January 1974 is a dope match if you're a fan of 70s NWA/AJPW style. For the short lived red cloth version of the NWA Championship :whoo:

The neck splash thing is weird, it seems so dangerous, but was SUPER common in the 70s, then completely vanished around 81/82 outside of Billy Robinson once in a while.

1 hour, 2/3 falls draw. The same week Jack had matches with Harley (60 min draw), Baba (24 min draw), Destroyer (27 min draw), Jumbo (half hour clean finish), plus 2 tag matches against Jumbo/Baba and Jumbo/Destroyer. What a tour. The same night as Jack/Dory also had a Baba/Harley match.

I gave up on the CC. Got behind two days and then thye just started piling up, mixed with the crowds of 70 people making it feel sad and depressing and the guys in the ring go half speed because why kill yourself in front of such tiny crowds?

I was really looking forward to this too:mjcry:
