Is it christmas? We're being blessed every day :blessed: No more depending on sketchy uploads and paying only for one event.

Who are the new standouts from DG breh? I've noticed they are letting Shingo freelance more and more. How's the next generation of flippy guys and stable fukkery looking like?

If anyone gets tired of watching the same guys over and over in other companies I don't know what they would think of Dragon Gate :lolbron: It has been basically the same wrestlers for years. At least they keep the units fresh with guys switching sides frequently. The Millenials guys have stepped up (T-Hawk, Eita, Lindaman) Big R Shimizu also is a relatively new standout. Good flippy guy for his size. Ben-K is the only new-new guy I've seen the most. He's aight, but still lacks experience.

I should recognize I haven't kept with DG as much as before, due to lack of time and availability of events, but that network may change that.

:ohhh:

Thought for a fact that Tana winning made sense but they made ZSJ look like a fukking boss this entire tournament. Naito, Ibushi, Sanada and Tana JUST TAP OUT :lolbron:

Battle of the hype men at the end :lolbron:
Another classic promo:blessed:

He's tapping to Okada though :francis:

New Japan Cup

ZSJ's napalm death finisher is :picard:

I've been really impressed with him since the G1 last year. He's so much more interesting with the demonic Suzuki apprentice persona.

Looking forward to him stretching Okada for 30 minutes until Dropkick-Wham-Rainmaker

Everyone pretty much said the obvious: ZSJ will lose the title match, but New Japan Cup 2018 successfully made him a main title contender.

The booking also saw Juice keep upper midcard strength, SANADA got the low key lieutenant push, and Tana continues to visibly hover near threat level - because he HAS to be the gatekeeper on his own record.
Battle of the hype men at the end :lolbron:
Gedo vs. TAKA was indeed both comedy and pretty damn cool mirroring

Trying out AJPW TV since they giving out the remaining of March for free:ehh:. So far I'm wildly impressed by the service. Not a single hic up, buffer, or lag (ahem DDT Universe). Also the format is straight to the point (no fluff and extra shyt throughout the website ahem NJPW World). The only drawback is the matches don't have wrestler intros, conferences, and interviews, which somehow works since it makes the events strictly wrestling. Also, they only have most of 2017 events on the service so far which helps folks like me play catch up before the Carnival starts:wow:. All in all its worth a try for Puro heads that's tired of OKADA Winz and want to see fukking Zeus and the Bodyguard be legit badasses:blessed:.

I was watching Suzuki/Tanahashi from New Beginning tonight and it was a much better version of Suzuki/Okada from last year, but also way longer than it needed to be. There's never going to be a match were Suzuki has a dude in a heel hook or knee bar (or both) for 5+ minutes and it doesn't get absurd the guy isn't tapping out. Especially when it happens multiple times in a match. I know the point was Tanahashi would never give up, but JR and Josh couldn't but point out that the ref stoppage should have happened way sooner, and it should have and it wouldn't have hurt the match at all. Instead, they added probably close to 10 minutes of submissions at the end after it was clear Tanahashi was completely shot and would need the ref to stop the match. At least Tanahashi actually sold his leg work unlike Okada.

That dropkick though :picard:
