Are there total numbers in the article? because last I hard NJ World had like 100k subs, 40% increase is pretty telling though because Japanese audiences do not fukk with streaming services so that much of an increase tells how much interest there was.

And they still fukked Naito over

Finally had time to catch up with some matches after being busy as fukk the last couple of weeks

Daisuke Sekimoto vs. Takuho Kato

Nice little match, pretty much exactly what you want from a young lion vs veteran encounter. Kato gets 3 meaningful moves all match but because it's Big Japan, they know how to build to every one and make it feel like it means a fukk ton for him to pull them off. Crowd was pulling for the young kid, Daisuke may have found another one @Don Ibiza Ibrahimovic

Shinobu (c) vs. Kazuki Hashimoto

I think it's my bias towards these two but I thought this was pretty damn good.

Fuminori Abe vs. Takuya Nomura

:whoo: holy shyt this was incredible. Just hang in there for the first 4 minutes or so with these two rolling around trying to get a submission going, as it will pay off given that this was 12 minutes of INTENSE wrestling. No wasted motion, two people wanting to win and doing their everything to get on top. Stiff as fukk in part, some dope fukking counters and a crowd that's really engaged. I find it interesting that the top young prospects of Big Japan and All Japan have the same last name @Ace of the Metropolitan breh you should really watch this, would love to read your thoughts on it. As close as we going to get for a Bati Bati stlye match in Big Japan @TrueEpic08 @trick @Don Ibiza Ibrahimovic

Now a little break before I dive into All Japan and see if DDT's last Korakuen main event is available :blessed:

15 years, where does the time go :to:

Still the craziest ramp bump I've seen :whoa: Although the botched one in the 04 Saito match looked like it hurt a LOT more.

RIP Misawa and Noah (which I think closed in 2011 or so).

Jun Akiyama & Yuji Nagata vs. Naoya Nomura & Ryouji Sai

I think my expectations for this match were way too high, so I couldn't help feeling underwhelmed. I think this was too long and Sai was pretty damn useless, but the last few minutes with Akiyama and Nomura are worth a look, I love how the crowds knows Nomura's the next chosen one and pull so hard for him to get the upset.

Shuji Ishikawa & Suwama (c) vs. Kento Miyahara & Yoshytatsu

Better than their RWTL match, mainly because the first half wasn't sleep inducing as their first encounter. This is mostly 20 minutes of bomb throwing. There's not a lot of subtleties in it and the control section from the champs is really short - which is a good thing because I think Yoshi sucks as a FIP - so Kento can get in and pick up the pace. For what they were going for, this was good, wouldn't call it a MOTYC or anything like it but I was entertained throughout :ehh:

Shuji Ishikawa & Daisuke Sekimoto vs. Konosuke Takeshyta & HARASHIMA - DDT 2/25/18

Man, for a jam packed Korakuen, this REALLY lacked a proper atmosphere. The story is as obvious and simple as it should me, with Shuji and Daisuke dominating with their brute force and local Aces doing their best with quick attacks and fighting spirit. Sadly, it never really felt like it "clicked" and the last sequence went by like nothing. The action was good but I'm shocked that a Korakuen crowd "ruined" a match like this.

Shuji and Daisuke singing "Tombo" :krs:

FIVE fukkING STARS :mjlol:
