When can he start traveling to the states again?
2021.

Whoever linked him with DDT basically saved his (professional) life. I don't know if he would or could have afforded to keep wrestling for five years without US checks. Mexico and Japan were his only hopes and he made it.
They dont do Europe anymore?
Nowhere in Europe has the infrastructure, really.

As far as Kitamura, I think he'll wind up in ROH. They seem to send most HW to the US. I think it's the smart call. Even though the talent isn't crazy, working with and around bigger guys who work as bigger guys goes a long way. I don't know what lucha has to offer a breh like Kita.

True, but even though I'm far from a lucha fan, I see a guy like Rush and how well Mexico did to guys like Nakamura and Naito, that would prefer Kitamura going there than do a bunch of indy bullshyt for 6 months. I'm kinda scared after watching what the indy scene has done to a guy like Riddle. I know Kitamura ain't gonna be doing a bunch of spots and no selling for no damn reason, but I feel he could actually learn more valuable stuff in CMLL.

By they way what did you think of Wrestle Kingdom breh, you missed the fukkery?

I was on vacation until yesterday so I'm still watching the show. I started the main event but stopped after introductions.

First thought:

For years we assumed the Fighting Spirit was the predominant force in New Japan, BUT, I think Okada, genius, and prodigal son he is, did the real research. And the results show. By adopting Hash's bell-bottom pants, Okada has discovered and declared that it is indeed the DISCO SPIRIT that is the true ultimate power in puro. When Naka went from serious wrassleman to dancing enigma his talents and abilities skyrocketed. Okada peeped game. Disco is the power.

As far as excursions, Naito is a tweener and was basically a jr when he had his first proper learning trip there. He and Naka both blossomed in late career trips character wise, but when straight up talking about a big guy who is still learning going away to learn? From White, to Evil, to Okada, the US seems to be the way.

A couple of months ago we were talking about how weird was it that New Japan hasn't worked Budokan Hall at all during this revival run...

Well, they announced that the G-1 Final this year will be at Budokan :krs:

Very smart decision :obama:

That might be over doing it :merchant:

They can't even sell out Sumo Hall for three straight days, the hell are they gonna do at Budokan? :patrice:

But still, a sold out Budokan for the final the day will be dope, hearing that building rock again is gonna bring back memories :mjcry:

When you have Tana, Ibushi, Omega, Naito, and Okada...plus the very strong upper midcard in play as spoilers...there's going to be so much emotion under that one roof.

:wow:

Twilight Blues is kind of a dark tag line considering Akiyama and Nagata are 50

It had that name before that match was announced, the tag match is like 4th from the top for the show.
