I've only seen a few Tiger Mask matches from the mid to late 90s when he popped back into the wrestling scene, and I'm convinced he could have had a whole second career as a top tier heavyweight dude if he had the motivation and inclination. He still had the speed and technique, could still do the shyt he was doing in 1982, but had the added UWF experience and weight. He could have been a killer in 1994-1999 NJPW as top heavyweight, imo.

Pretty sure Vince DID love Tenryu since he worked with SWS and WAR frequently and sent actual stars over to Japan for him. That working relationship was so one sided, I can't remember anyone but Tenryu and Kitao coming over to America to work anything. Vince sent Taker, Macho, Hogan, Bret, HBK, and had Flair defend the title against Tenryu in Japan at one point.
