At the NJPW Niigata show, a kid approached Suzuki, handed him his piggy bank and asked him to give it to Takayama :mjcry:

Daisuke Sekimoto & Kohei Sato vs. Okami (Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani) - Saikyou Tag League Semifinals

Really fun sprint. It had some nice callbacks to the match they had a couple of days earlier for the block match that Sato ad Daisuke won (not worth your time though, it was pretty by the numbers). If you've followed Daichi's matches this year, the ending is particularly satisfying as he finally gets to hit that move on a big match again. Korakuen is on fire as this is the opener. By the way, I was :mjlol: at Big Japan's fukked up canvas having sponsors on the corners, they are barely noticeable with all those damn patches. Fun watch.

Abdullah Kobayashi & Ryuji Ito vs. Okami (Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani) - Saikyou Tag League Finals

The Finals had a pretty dope story with the young fellas having to face a challenger they had never seen before. Abby Jr looks more disgusting than ever - motherfukker didn't even wash his face after his semifinals encounter :scust: - and alongside Ito, they use their hardcore backround to gain advantage and bloody up their opponents. Okami is tough as nails though so they do whatever they can to pull off the comeback. LOVED the spot of Kamitani having the chance to hit Abby Jr with a chair and having doubts of using a weapon. Also loved watching Sekimoto cheerleading for his guys. Execution and action of the match is pretty meh, not sure how many people will really like this, but it's only 16 minutes so you won't feel bored by it, imo.

Not sure I'll be able to catch up with more from the tag league :to: I pray to Terry Funk that someone uploads the 11/1 show at least :to:
