I feel like he's just taking Cole's place in a Bullet Club/Elite separation angle.

And I agree. He was teasing shytting on Bullet Club from his very first match in NJPW.

Edit:

His entrance is around the 2:20 mark, just tossed his BC shirt like it wasn't shyt.

That always struck me as odd.

Im really hoping the bucks betray omega but we know that aint happening

At this point I'm pretty sure "good news" means his eye sight isn't fukked up anymore or something along those lines. I would be shocked if it' anything related to wrestling.

I sincerely hope so, because the only thing waiting for him at work is Suzuki, Ishii and Makabe making bets as to who manages to shoot kill him in the ring :sadcam:

I just think his condition is waaay too fukked up for the first big news about his health being anything but "I'm not gonna be blind or lose my mind" type of stuff.

How is Daichi doing? Seems like ages since he debuted.

He's good, but not good enough to warrant a big push in Big Japan yet. He showed flashes of greatness when he debuted 6 years ago for Zero One (holy shyt it's been that long) and then he pretty much hit a wall for a long time due to working IGF for a couple of years. He then was smart/lucky to end up in Big Japan - that has arguably the best heavyweight dojo in Japan - and he has become a solid performer that can be elevated by better workers. He can only keep improving if he stays there.

Thing is, he's not at the level were he can have a MOTYC by his own or have a standout title reign yet. He's not a prodigy like Takeshyta, Okada or Miyahara. BUT, he has the tools to become a main eventer eventually. His size is an issue too, he's not small enough to be a Junior but he's not big enough to be a legit heavy, he's gonna be an underdog for most of his career unless he shows a mean streak further down the line.

He's young as fukk though. Breh is 25, an even though I expected him to make "the leap" performance wise already, he can still get there. It's not as sure a thing as I once thought though.

New Japan not booking him is retarded though. Not only does he have a huge name but he could do well enough and keep progressing as a worker by getting a couple of tours with them from time to time (basically do what they did with Ibushi). It still bothers me that Daichi was supposed to get a hero's welcome in WK 7 but an injury kept him from wrestling and he was never mentioned again :francis:
