Is this the most caught up the American NJPW show is to the Japanese counterpart? Dominion was 6/11, they're airing the top matches tonight...

I lost my AXS TV shortly after they did the Wrestle Kingdom special. Did they ever go backwards and show the G1 and also Okada/Marafuji?

I was surprised when I got my AXS TV back recently and saw that they were showing recent events

Yup, sure did. They showed the latter's matchup in the G1, too.

They bounce around, but thankfully do show the cream of the crop...and when they need filler, they pull the notable/interesting stuff.

Now that they are more up to date, they could use a little production to frame the show better, make it more palatable to US audiences.

I always think a primer in the schedule, reception, and format of NJPW helps more people have access to and understand the product.

Just looked through the upcoming schedule and they have a repeat showing of Oakada/Marafuji upcoming so I am going to record that. Not sure why I care, because Barnett/Ross always suck the excitement out of the matches (even though they have gotten better)

I am just curious about how they handled it since it was one of my three 5 star matches of 2016

So is Cody Rhodes leaving New Japan or he would rather be solo there?

Keep in mind Ive only watched night one so far but Is that why they're teasing beef in Bullet Club?

I never thought he was a really good fit in the group anyway

I feel like he's just taking Cole's place in a Bullet Club/Elite separation angle.

And I agree. He was teasing shytting on Bullet Club from his very first match in NJPW.

Edit:

His entrance is around the 2:20 mark, just tossed his BC shirt like it wasn't shyt.

That always struck me as odd.
