Just got around to the 45th anniversary show. Solid. Okada is probably wrestler of the year this year.

I hope Ibushi takes off the mask soon. I think it's affecting his wrestling ability weirdly enough.

Agreed. I don't think it matters if he's champ on the US dates because the people going to the show will be fans of the promotion already.

It's not like the japanese stars wont draw either. People have made way too much out of New Japan's US tour. Omega getting the title is not a mandatory "good business" decision. If he gets it, fine, if he doesn't, it's fine too.

Just feel it could add a little spice. Like if the local newspapers and such mention how a North American holds the main belt for a Japanese promotion it could bring some from those not familiar with NJ.

Plus his roots in PWG adds a connection to SoCal wrestling.
