Apparently a DRAPING DDT
Tomoaki Honma was injured during a match at a NJPW live event today. During a multi-man tag match, Jado tried to deliver a hanging DDT to Honma, but Honma’s feet got caught in the ropes. The move went wrong, and Honma suffered what is believed to be a cervical spine injury.
Medical staff came to the ring, and Honma was given oxygen. It’s reported he was able to speak to the medical personnel, but he could feel nothing from the neck down. He was stretchered out of the arena in Okinawa after his neck was stabilized and taken by ambulance to a nearby medical facility. (This is what I was able to glean from a translation of the latest news report.)

New Japan announced that Tomoaki Honma has been pulled from the previously announced IWGP Tag title challenge on the March 6 show.
Honma suffered a spine injury during the March 3 show in Okinawa after taking rope-assisted DDT which led to Honma slipping and being spiked head first into the mat. The early medical report has stated that he has suffered a cervical spine injury and will be forced to miss all upcoming shows. No word on the severity of the injury at this time.
