Damn didn't know the Coli went this deep with Japanese wrestling.

Brings back memories of my old VHS tapes of Super J Cup 94 and 95. I was a huge fan of Hayabusa from FMW. It sucked when he had that career ending injury. :to:

I remember Hayabusa/Shinzaki vs RVD/Sabu at Heatwave 98 I was like :whoo:

About fukking time this came out...hopefully somebody eventually splits this...

Edit: Just watched the Main Event. :wow: An absolute must-see match, and something TOTALLY different from the New Japan style. shyt was basically the New Japan Junior Heavyweight version of Rock/Triple H from Backlash 2000 with a little bit of the insanity from the Canadian Stampede finish thrown in. Just amazing spectacle.

Also, even though I still think the wrong guy won, I understand why he did win here. Massive push+impending title shot=Not losing at all. The other guy still should've won, though, given what type of match they were working.

The Bullet Club are better heels in their 2 month existence than Aces & Eights have been in their entire year-long existence. fukk, they might be the best heels in wrestling right now. Amazing stuff all around.

What is the status of Japanese wrestling these days? Is it more/less popular than the 90's? I see NJPW was sold a few times with the most recent being in 2012. All Japan was just sold this year according to wikipedia. Is NJPW still the biggest of all of the promotions?

I always pictured KES involved if they went with a Machine Gun stable (also thought hed be the leader) But im good with this too. That light up jacket :ohlawd:

Id say slightly less popular over here. There was a boom around 2000 for puroresu in the US that has cooled a bit. NJPW is far and away the biggest promotion. Its virtually the only big one thats been run well in recent memory so its basically a given. In my opinion its the only big organization being run right in the world today.

NJPW has gotten their shyt together. They are selling out some mid sized shows and I think the Tokyo Dome show did well also.

Anyway, I just watched Dominion. I liked the main event but I thought Shibata/Goto was crazy. Good stuff.

That main event they are setting up now. I won't spoil it since most probably haven't seen the show but that title match is going to be fukking great. :blessed:

Everyone who's seen the show seems to be raving over this.

Watched Dominion after RAW last night and damn, that was some good stuff. The best match of the Forever Hooligans/Time Splitters series (though they REALLY need to stop putting these four together), an excellent tag between CHAOS Invincible and Suzuki and Benjamin (Ishii was especially great, and Nakamura with the red hood? :wow: Fantastic stuff from everyone, in fact), Yujiro didn't fukk up Naito's return (Naito. :wow: I need to see this dude get the green light push immediately. Such charisma, even when slipping on the apron), Shibata/Goto was the shyt (are they going to do something else with Shibata and Sakuraba other than matches with big names? I need to see these guys go for some gold soon), Devitt/Tanahashi was pure fukkery of the best sort, and Okada actually made me enjoy a Makabe match. Great PPV. Washed down the stale taste of RAW nicely.

Lineup for the 7/20 Kizuna Road show:

-Forever Hooligans/TAKA and Taichi is going to be pure fukkery of the best sort.
-Suzuki/Ishii. :wow::wow:
-Tanaka/Naito will be good, though I'm not sure if I want Naito to really win or not.
-Need to watch that Sombra/Nakamura 2 out of 3 falls from CMLL at some point...
-Do we really need to see another Shibata/Goto match? At least it'll be good...
-Nagata/Sakuraba could be a match of the night, hell even a potential MOTYC. Looking forward to that one.
-Okada/Devitt. :wow:

I need this card in my life. Don't sleep on the 7/5 card either. Devitt/Gedo could be really good, as could Terrible and Tonga/Tanahashi and Liger.

Best promotion in the world right now, easily. EASILY.
