meh, That'd be cool but theres a few wrestlers on a higher level than Ibushi. I'd rather see Shibata, or Naito fued with Nakamura for it.

Shibata or Naito aren't the potential draws Ibushi is (he already has a couple of Sumo Hall big attendances to his resume in New Japan and DDT). And it would be refreshing to watch them three feud with each other instead of having Swagamura with the belt again.

I actually agree with that.

But, I'd like to see Ibushi involve in some kind of feud... Ibushi vs Omega would be nice.

Tanahashi took like 5 years to get stale, come on now

The NEVER Title doesn't mean anything to be honest, if he's not going to be on the IC title picture then create an interesting feud for him but Gedo goes like when it comes to booking those.

Maybe to you but i started off not caring about him but unlike Nakamura who won me over tenfold, ive fallen further into "meh" as years have gone by.

The NEVER title means absolutely nothing but it doesnt mean it has to forever. Considering the IC title is near equal footing of the IWGP title, i think the NEVER title should be the logical step for a Jr Heavyweight graduating to Heavyweight status.

But you have my curiousity, what kind of a feud would you put Kota in to keep him in upper card relevance?

I stopped caring about Tana by 2012-2013. That's 5-6 years into his push

The way the roster is set up right now and the feuds they are building, the only thing out there for Kota is a "you are not man enough" angle with Shibata. That or a "you are not a real heavyweight" feud with Ishii if he loses to Makabe.

My only problem is that he's gonna get fizzled out unless he forms a stable...like a true puro invader would. Man up Gedo
