Breh, you need to watch Choshu and Hashimoto matches. You would love them dudes.
I've watched a few Hashimoto matches on youtube. Breh struck with no fukks given:wow:

I can imagine Dunn and Vince being :scust: at Hashimoto's build:heh:

I seen random matches on youtube with Hansen, Misawa, Brody, etc but one day I'll really make it a point to go back and watch 80's and 90's Puro

It's a very fine line between getting heel heat and being TOO HATED in puro. Hell, I was one of the people that wasn't too fond of the Bullet Club interfering in every damn Devitt match, but I'm so bored with New Japan that Los Ingobernables getting a fukkery run would spark my interest.

Is it just me or does there seem to be discontent by American fans over the booking since G1? After WK, it was like LOLTANAHASHIWINS but with hope that Okada would get his win back at the following WK. Now I'm reading a lot of "fukk Gedo" :pacspit: since Tana won at G1. Logical thing they can do is give
yOFLs75.png
that title shot but Tana is probably gonna get his win back.

I've been complaining about their booking for more than a year to be honest. G-1 was just the thing that pushed me to just stop watching. I still keep up with results and news but I don't think I'll watch another NJPW show till January 4th to see what's in store for 2016 :manny:

But yes, a lot of fans that jumped on New Japan in the last 2-3 years have just recently start complaining about Gedo's repetitive and unimaginative booking.

Belated Observer notes

Hokuto (Dave fukking loves that story about them keeping everyone up the night they met, tells it every time Sasaki or Hokuto are mentioned)

Akira Hokuto, 48, a Hall of Fame woman star who is considered one of the greatest female in-ring performers of all-time, disclosed on 9/23 that she was suffering from breast cancer.

Hokuto announced on her web site about her condition and that she would be undergoing surgery on 9/24 on her right breast.

In making the announcement, she said that her current television show, “Hokuto Family,” a variety show based on her family, was being postponed.

Hokuto, real name is Hisako Uno Sasaki, the wife of Kensuke Sasaki. They are the only husband-and-wife Hall of Famers in the Observer Hall and easily the most famous pro wrestling couple ever in Japan.

Hokuto started wrestling in 1985 for the All Japan Women’s promotion, but suffered a broken neck in 1987 taking a tombstone piledriver off the middle rope, which was the finish of the first fall of a best-of-three fall title match. She wrestled the next two falls, while holding her head in place with her hands, which gave her a reputation for inhuman toughness. At first it was thought her career was over, but she returned after one year, and from a ring psychology standpoint, would have to be considered the best woman wrestler of all-time. She retired from the 250 show per year schedule in 1993, but continued to wrestle after that point, including a run as Reina Jubuki, the masked CMLL women’s champion.

On the biggest woman’s pro wrestling event in history, the November 20, 1994, “Big Egg Wrestling Universe” show that drew 32,500 fans to the Tokyo Dome, Hokuto was the biggest star. The show was built around an eight-woman tournament with women from several different promotions, called the Five Star Top Woman tournament, and Hokuto beat Eagle Sawai of LLPW and Combat Toyoda from FMW in the first two rounds, before beating All Japan Womens’ Aja Kong in the finals.

She was married once previously to Mexican wrestler Antonio Gomez. After divorcing, she met Sasaki during the 1995 New Japan/WCW tour of North Korea, where four women from All Japan Women’s wrestling were brought by Antonio Inoki there as part of the shows.

Even though both were already major pro wrestling stars in Japan, they had never met until the tour. It became a famous story in wrestling about how they went out on their first date, how others involved with the promotion could hear them through the hotel walls that night, and that they were engaged the next morning. Given the nature of all that, people figured the marriage wasn’t exactly on a strong foundation.

But they ended up becoming a major celebrity couple, popular on talk shows, with the quick-witted wife who would tell jokes while her super powerful husband would smile and be the quiet one, including having their own variety show. The couple has two children, Kennosuke, 16, and Shinnosuke, 12. Once, when the family together ran an ultra-marathon, it drew tremendous television ratings and the two are well known in Japan as a mainstream celebrity couple far beyond just the wrestling fan base or the wrestling business.

NOAH (RIP :heh: :mjcry:)

After Suzuki-gun retained three of the company’s four major titles on 9/19, Pro Wrestling NOAH Vice President Naomichi Marufuji said that if someone from the promotion can’t get one of the four titles before the end of this year, that the promotion will disband.

Minoru Suzuki, who retained his title over Takashi Sugiura in the main event, before 2,800 fans at the Edion Colosseum in Osaka, said that NOAH may as well just fold up now. Suzuki said that he challenges Marufuji to the fact that if someone from Suzuki-gun wins the upcoming Global League singles tournament, which starts next month, then NOAH would have to fold.

Whoever wins the Global League, as long as it’s not Suzuki, will get a shot at the title next.

In the other two championship matches Suzuki-gun’s Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. retained the GHC tag titles beating the ROH combination of Ray Rowe & Hanson, and Taichi retained the GHC jr. title over Daisuke Harada. They had been pushing of late that Sugiura and Harada would be NOAH’s best hopes to get the belts back.

NOAH, booked by Jado (who works as Captain NOAH under a mask, and everyone knows who it is because he does some Jado trademark spots), has grown somewhat in popularity and definitely in media coverage this year with the NOAH vs. Suzuki-gun feud. But still, they couldn’t half-fill the Colosseum for one of the year’s biggest shows.

A press conference was held three days later with the NOAH stars, before the 9/22 show at Korakuen Hall. Sugiura apologized for failing to win the title at a time the company needed it. Yoshihiro Takayama said that all the NOAH wrestlers, and himself, a free agent but on the NOAH side, need to work together to get the belts back. Mohammed Yone in particular said that they need to save NOAH and doesn’t want to see the company that Mitsuharu Misawa built fall like this, and that he wants a chance at the title and Suzuki himself.

1. Yoshihiro Takayama & Mohammed Yone & Akitoshi Saito & Quiet Storm beat Kenou & Hajime Ohara & Genba Hirayanagi & Captain NOAH in 8:10 when Yone pinned Hirayanagi with a muscle buster.

2. In a non-title match, jr. tag champs Taka Michinoku & Desperado of Suzuki-Gun, defeated Mitsuhiro Kitamiya & Kota Umeda in 10:33 when Desperado pinned Umeda.

3. In the jr. heavyweight tag team tournament, Buffalo & Billy Ken Kid beat Super Crazy & Hitoshi Kumano in 8:10 when Kid pinned Kumano.

4. In the jr. heavyweight tag team tournament, Yoshinari Ogawa & Zack Sabre Jr. beat Taiji Ishimori & Masamune in 13:01 when Sabre beat Masamune with a seated double arm butterfly.

5. Shelton Benjamin pinned Katsuhiko Nakajima in 13:08 with the paydirt.

6. Naomichi Marufuji pinned Atsushi Kotoge in 14:06 after the shiranui (sliced bread).

7. Maybach Taniguchi pinned Takashi Iizuka in 11:53 with the Maybach press in a no DQ match. The match was a bloodbath, and blading is rare in the major Japan groups these days. Iizuka ripped up Taniguchi’s mask.

8. Taichi retained the GHC jr. title beating Daisuke Harada in 18:37 with a running Liger bomb. There was outside help from Michinoku & Desperado. At one point Taichi tried to hit Harada with a belt shot, but Kotoge ran in and stopped that. Harada had the match won but the ref was out of position. Ishimori came out to challenge for the title next.

9. Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. beat Ray Rowe & Hanson in 18:40 when Archer pinned Hanson after the double-team killer bomb. This was revenge for a non-title match that War Machine won at the ROH tapings in August.

10. Minoru Suzuki pinned Takashi Sugiura in 29:19 to retain the GHC heavyweight title in a no DQ and no time limit match that could only be won via three count, submission or knockout. Suzuki won via Gotch piledriver. Suzuki-gun then got in the ring and celebrated with all the company’s title belts.

Tokyo Dome tickets go on sale on 10/18 to the general public, although members of the New Japan Fan Club can get first tickets from 9/26 to 9/28. They are priced from $400 for the top seats where you get to keep the ringside chair down to $28 for the cheapest tickets. The show will be starting at 5 p.m. local time, which is midnight late Sunday night on the West Coast and 3 a.m. on the East Coast Monday morning. That’s not a good time for PPV in the U.S. at all. They moved the start time back one hour because the show is on a Monday in Japan.

An announcement was made at the Tokyo Game Show 2015 (Japan’s biggest video game and card game convention) that New Japan has finally acquired the merchandise rights to Jushin Liger. Jushin Liger was a Japanese comic book character in the 80s, just like Tiger Mask was originally a comic book and children’s cartoon character in the 70s. Go Nagai, who created the character, owned the merchandise rights. New Japan after 25 years negotiated a deal where they now own the Jushin Liger character.

Lol at Jado being the one that books the more compelling angle in their "NXT" promotion :heh: Have they done a Captain Falls match or at least a big Survival Tag against Suzuki-Gun?

Maybe Go quitting All Japan means he's going back to NOAH to "save" them? :patrice:

But NOAH seems doomed no matter what they book though, it's a shame. I think Suzuki-Gun destroying/ending NOAH and going back to New Japan trying to take that promotion too would be the smarter decision than just giving NOAH a happy ending with someone taking the belt off MiSu in December.

shyt, ex NOAH guys invading New Japan late in 2016 to do the same thing Suzuki-Gun did to them would be pretty damn fun.

Go Shiozaki interview(Had to use google translate:patrice:)
「フリー戦士」潮﨑豪の目指す道 | プロレスTIME

Is Taidan the All Japan Pro Wrestling, tide 﨑豪 that took a new step as a free warrior October 1 to "free anniversary", who answered to the exclusive interview of professional wrestling TIME. Anyone, anywhere in the ring whether "Gowan" is wielded. Remarks of attention has followed.
- September 30 Omotte to expire contract with All Japan Pro Wrestling. It was a free player from today (October 1). It was a sudden announcement, did you with To smoothly the decision?

"I want to broaden their potential. In this state ..." tide Yamazaki While there have been troubled with, it is that the conclusions were out. One step from the frame of the organization, to try to jump out. And the first time to become free, honest, but there was also anxiety, it is larger hope is if familiar with now.

- Do you joined somewhere in the organization in the future, or ...

I want to rise to tide Yamazaki and sought ring. A free position than to belong to the organization and we want to continue to take full advantage.

- Do you have a ring that targeted?

Are you interested in tide Yamazaki IWGP heavyweight belt. In the past we were able to hold both the throne of GHC, 3 crown. I want to get all of the belt, which is said to measure 3 large throne. Now the IWGP champion Kazuchika Okada player. He'm I'm winning. Of course became a Rainmaker, is unreasonable story now to compare with him, but ....
- It is only a dream of the card for the fans

And we have good simulation or rather tide Yamazaki dream. "If up to this organization ..." and "that if you play against players ...", you may forget the time.

- New Japan IWGP Intercontinental Championship not only the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in wrestling, also each shine NEVER indiscriminate class throne

I tide Yamazaki Inter throne I'm middle 邑選 hand took back. On whether this number of years, but I'm going to be changed, the first time in the evolution of the medium 邑選 hand is amazing. I would like to do that NEVER champion, Makabe players clash with the body every rugged Fight style. It is equipped with charming champion.

- First Is New Japan Pro Wrestling

The N - and intends tide Yamazaki. In fact, we have also recruited think what to GHC now. Noamatto that had been occupied by suzukigun led by Minoru Suzuki player. GHC throne also remain deprived Suzuki Minoru players, players of Noah should have been a course Noafan of everyone mortifying think. Has arrived voice "Please somehow the GHC and Noah" in my SNS. Now I would also be what "foreign enemy" but, mind will move.

- New Japan Pro Wrestling and Noah. It is an organization that is said to be major

Tide Iwasaki No, no, you have any other hot become players. Daisuke Sekimoto the rugged body of the player to full operation to squarely game to game will he I also seen.

- The Sekimoto Okabayashi Yuji player who takes the BJW certification world Strong Heavyweight Championship from players, boasts a thick body and tremendous power

Tide Yamazaki Well. I have been to the original value the "greatness of the professional wrestler". We want to integrate the venue in the "orthodox wrestling tide 﨑豪". "Kenta Kobashi VS Kensuke Sasaki" of 2005 7-18 Tokyo Dome tournament of Noah is my goal. I've been attached to the seconds, but was overwhelmed by the force of the body and body collide.- I've drawn a fight with a variety of players

Manabu Soya player became a champion of the tide Yamazaki W-1 is also worrisome. He says "Wild" seems different from the wild is that I think of me. Oh yeah, another person, there are people who do not forget. It is a sodomy Dino player of DDT.

- Yeah? Although it is surprising name

Tide Yamazaki and I apparently have been said to be similar in me and face part. Once in order to prove a "different'll!" "'ll Not at all like!", I want to bout.

- "Free warrior" tide 﨑豪 It is a wide range of fight. Just all-round.

And it's not only tide Yamazaki now. I want to try their own power. It is the standby OK. World mat beginning to the WWE does not just Japan mat industry also been put in a field of view. We were together in ROH, Kevin Owens now has been active in the WWE. It becomes that "now is the time I want to fight."It is Osaka tournament of June 20, 2009 to be boarded in New Japan Pro Wrestling as --GHC champion. We have rejected the "peace and amity Okada" was one of the Young Lion at that time. After the game, Okada "If I can become champion, Shiozaki's a'll return the borrowed always doing defensive war" and says in front of the camera

Tide Yamazaki Yes.

- At the time, Shiozaki VS Okada was making noise as "five years later, two of the battle contend the vertices of the Japanese world of professional wrestling after '10." Still it said that before to transform into a Rainmaker, I'm go-ahead with one win and 0 losses in Okada. Moreover, the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion is Okada.

Iwasaki tide and current Rainmaker thing Kazuchika Okada player, I would like to definitely fighting. To even the New Japan Pro Wrestling other Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shinsuke Nakamura, hirooki goto, there are many players who fought Togi Makabe ... several times. Tetsuya Naito players once in the second times All Together, it is alone with you teamed. Katsuyori players have played against in Noamatto Shibata. Kota Ibushi players never picked a quarrel at all. Other such also Yano players, New Japan Pro Wrestling really lineup rich. Since the players settled is not with many, I want boarded again.Whether the future of the battlefield is where? "Free warrior" tide 﨑豪 has started to run for even "dream card" realized for the fans also for himself.
