I completely agree with @trick they need to worry about finding more heavyweight prospects in Japan. They have a 2-3 year window so it's far from a huge issue, but it's something they have to start taking a look at now so it doesn't bite them in the ass in three years. I've said before we gotta wait and see about Watanabe, and they can wait for Daichi (or Takeshyta @Don Rhymus) BUT having a backup plan is never a bad idea.

Nothing really new though. We knew about their working relationships with those promotions/countries and the dojo has welcomed young guys from different countries before. Seems to me this is more like a PR stunt more than anything else (not that there's anything wrong with that considering the circumstances).

A few hours before Daisuke vs Yuji in Sumo Hall. Please let it be good, please let it have a decent amount of people :mjcry: :mjcry: :mjcry:

We're alright for a while :whew: I'm nervous about all this though, this must be how TNA fans feel all the time :heh:

Looks like Suzuki/Takayama will be worth checking out when it hits Dailymotion

3,985 Fans for Big Japan's Sumo Hall show. I little more than what I expected :mjcry:

Managed to go unspoiled so it better be up soon. It was streamed live so there's no reason not to :damn:

Daichi vs Nagata - Fun match, nothing to write home about but it got better towards the end. Hashimoto has gained some weight but still has ways to go, gotta get better cardio an execute a little better but the talent is still there.

Daisuke vs Yuji wasn't the classic it could've been - it lacked the story and drama of something like Daisuke/Y.Sasaki - but it was still really fukking good :blessed: a hot Korakuen crowd could've pushed this to legit MOTYC level but the reduced Sumo Hall audience wasn't that bad either, I was expecting worse. No big story here, your usual "2 big dudes colliding back and forth" (would've loved to see them sell Sekimoto going for the head or sell Yuji just being a beast and not being faced by it) and they make it compelling by beating the absolute shyt out of each other - Okabayashi busted his nose in the first lock up :heh: - LOVED that they didn't go full retard with the nearfalls, they had me a couple of times. Some cool strengths spots, though they were waaay to ambicious with a couple of them and ended up botching them but it wasn't a big deal at all. The right man won, I'll eagerly wait for part VI :blessed:

Don't know if anyone here still watches the show, but NJPW on AXS was renewed and now will have a full year airing in 2016 instead of a seasonal one, like this year :ehh:. According to the Meltz, it's the fourth most watched wrestling show on cable after Raw, SD, and Impact. (Although ROH and LU have more viewers with their syndicated deals)
