Man, I need to get into NJPW and be done with settling for WWE. Quick question about the NJPW subscription...Is the commentary done in English and do you get access to live shows?

You do get access to the live shows, but they have Japanese commentary only.

Currently, the only English commentary New Japan show is the one on the AXS channel, but those are old matches.

Kyle and Bobby aren't the IWGP Jr champs, it's the Bucks versus Roppongi Vice

AJ v Ibushi. Goddamn, we got a fukking encounter on our hands :banderas:

@Jmare007 I TOLD YOU AJ WAS BEST FOR BUSINESS BREH :blessed:

Show was aight, Goto v Makabe was meh, Kota/Naito and the final are must watch. The CHAOS/BC tag really surprised me and turned out solid. Shibata/Honma v Tonga/Hall was 100% better than it had any reason being. Honda is that dude :heh:

Honma and Shibata's interactions had me :dead: during that match, that team is way more interesting than the Goto/Shibata duo.

It was a good show, but one of the weaker NJPW shows this year. Can't wait to see the NOAH show. It airs this Thursday in Japan.

Kinda interested what they're going to do with him, if they wanna go the hardcore/deathmatch style route they could put him with Bram :yeshrug:

Same, I'm interested to see what they do with him. Sanada got a decent push as X-Division champ and hasn't been jobbed out so far, but he hasn't gotten any TV time or character growth after joining James Storm's stable. They seem to be working with a different booking team since the days of Okada and Naito in TNA, so maybe this'll be good for Kota.

Very strange to hear that Big Japan has a working relationship with TNA though

wow, that was fast I have only seen 1 match of his (the tag from early in the year). Can't really tell about his potential with just 1 match but I'm glad his getting an US excursion, he's young as fukk (19).

Heard Jim Ross said New Japan are high on Bennett, Taven & Cole aka The Kingdom and wants to sign sign them to an exclusive deal. Here's a promo from Bennett & Taven hyping their match with Bullet Club

@Jmare007

Turns out he's not going to TNA, he's just going to Florida to train and he wants to work in TNA.

From the Puroresu Spirit blog:
[BJW News] Big Japan held a press conference to announced that one of their latest young rookies Kota Sekifuda will be heading off to train in the USA. Sekifuda was joined by the BJW reprentative Eiji Tosaka and President Great Kojika for today’s announcement.

The 19 year old Kota Sekifuda (関札皓太 Sekifuda Kota), born June 24, 1995, made his professional debut on August 6, 2014 and now looks to take his career to a new level as he embarks on a journey overseas. Sekifuda may not be the biggest at only 165cm (5′5′’) and 77kg (170lbs), but his goal/drive is to grow as much as possible in both ability and strength. Sekifuda stated that he wants to learn abroad and he wants to strive for success as a pro-wrestler.

Sekifuda’s last match for now under BJW will be on 3/31 at the Korakuen Hall in which he will then make the trip soon following to the USA. When asked about where he is going, Sekifuda replied that he is looking at a training school based out of Florida. He wants the best teaching possible as he wants to step up and prove himself to the best of his ability.

Great Kojika commended the young talent on wanting to take this huge step and he wants to see him live his dream with open arms. He wished him much success and that Sekifuda comes back with the experience that he is striving to achieve.

As for an exact location to where Sekifuda is going that was not mentioned at this time. Just an American wrestling school of some kind. Though when asked what his true goal is, Sekifuda replied that he want to compete in TNA. Though TNA is not where he will be when he arrives in the USA. He closed out the announcement by stating that he will do his best to represent BJW and vowed to make a strong return.
