G1 is also going back to 30-minute time limits after last year reducing it to 20. Glad to see they are reversing some recent changes that made things worse for the G1. With all the talent they've lost over the last couple years. They didn't have much choice in reducing the field back down to 20 unless they really wanted to water down the field or pay a bunch of money they don't have for several outside talents to keep the talent level up.

The play-in tournament to pick entrants #19 and #20 started June 22. Still catching up on Twitter so maybe this has already been announced, but wonder if any of those matches happen at Forbidden Door?

They should've let Mox cook more as an invader champion, at this point I'd like for him to win at FD, he should lost it in Japan and against one of the younger kids. Naito winning it back in the U.S doesn't help anyone, but this whole thing does scream transitional title reign so
NOAH couldn't even get 1k at Korakuen today so they better watch out that Kidd doing his shtick doesn't lead to another Suzuki Gun situation.
