FYI it wasn't millions... somewhere between 100k and 200k at most.

And considering that it saved between 1mm - 5mm of lives if the war had continued, you can certainly argue that it was justified.

There's nothing the Japanese did during WWII that the Nazi's didn't already do. The Nazi's were far more monstrous. That's just part of major wars throughout human history.

They just get more notoriety because they were committing crimes against other white nations/folks. People could not (and still can not) understand how a "proper" nation like German could ever carry out such barbaric acts. The fact that the same was happening in Japan meant very little, as Europe already assumed these people to be savages.

TLDR; Nazi's are only considered more monstrous because of Eurocentrism.

They were more monstrous. White supremacists and racially biased whites try to re-write history to claim the Japanese were more monstrous but this is false.
The Nazis were demonic baby killers. They threw new borns in ovens. They threw 1,2,3 year olds in gas chambers and ovens.

They stormed random villages, raped, gouged pregnant women to death and killed the new born child. They performed all sorts of forced labour and mind control then murdered their subjects when they were no longer of use. They performed all sorts of unspeakable "human experimentation" on other humans to stretch the boundaries of their so-called "science". They also killed far more people and like the cowards they were, went through incredible steps to destroy the evidence of the abominations they commited.

Do more research. The more you do, the more you realize its not even comparable. Sure, Imperial Japan was sick but its not to different from some of the stuff that happened in WWI for example. The Nazis did the atrocities Imperial Japan did + much worse, under the command of the third Reich.
