Only so many hours during the day to level yourself useless.

I have no issues studying, performed well in all levels of school. I do well in life. I'm educated and didn't smoke weed till 25. People like me own businesses... always had my head on straight. I know many successful people who indulge.....

Working in STEM, especially today is lifelong studying if you want to stay in the field and advance your career with the best of them. Most people in our fields know we can’t move like that because of competition and grow out of it.

i don't need luck i put in work already. I went to the best school in Canada without a scholarship on my own merit. I work with industrial robotics. I study all the time. you must love your foot in your mouth

Chances are people who don’t smoke like that are doing much better than people who don’t. I did it when I was younger and don’t anymore. Too many people out in the world old and young know how to value their time rather than smoke weed frequently. That’s the generalization I’m making (using STEM and the competition around it as an argument for the average person ina high-paying field). Point is, It’s not a zero-sum game. That’s reality and that’s how Physics (time) works.

Now a whole country of people who are already elite-performing are full of people who most likely want to work jobs here and are not coming in smoking weed. They’ll be competition in work and school. Probably won’t be the last country who bans it either. This is the time to sharpen up, not settle down.
