She’s too small and soft to play Storm. Storm needs to be athletic and have a presence in the new MCU movies because we’ve had two renditions of Storm with smaller women and it’s not convincing considering how powerful the character is supposed to be.

You’re right but the optics are still important because imagine if Chris Hemsworth was skinny. You’d still suspend disbelief of him being a Norse God but it wouldn’t look as convincing.

I think it’s fair. She’s petite, soft spoken and 5’3 on a good day. I personally don’t think there’s enough CGI and good writing in the world to make her look convincing enough.
