Arcandriod is just one of those generational albums .
Electric lady was fire too she can do it all .

Took you through almost all genres of black music .

She gave you basically everything but country .

Don't understand the hate for electric lady .


While y'all don't like her doing a bunch of r&b I actually love it .

This is probably one of my fav song from her ever .


Early Janelle the album she was trapping on campus .

The bolded is what seemed to go over a lot of people's heads.

She covered it all and did it extremely well.

To each their own, I guess. I love that album to death.

Yoga is her best song. Hopefully she makes music in that vein

Yoga was one of her best songs, I don't know why everyone is getting upset at this comment. My personal favorite is primetime

Missed out on her tour the last time round but not gonna miss her this go round. Great first two songs. I'm sure now she is getting that push she deserved when Electric Lady dropped. Looks like the price of the brick going up.

I heard Her on Zane Lowe she said she is very nervous about how people will receive it .

She said the album is very honest and this is the album she wanted to make before arch android .


If this video is an indication of what the album will be like yea she don't care anymore .

So she finally coming out forreal in her songs/lyrics/videos?

As someone who discovered Janelle before most and who has an autographed copy of Suite I. . .

I'm not entirely feeling this, the instrumentation and the Minneapolis sound, sure. . .but I can still hear the classically trained timbre in her voice. I don't find it

as dynamic or unhinged as Prince's 'Kiss', so, for me, the track falls into the imitation bin. I'm still very excited about Dirty Computer though,

that looks like some afro-futurism spectacle.

Maybe I'll grow used to it; just my first impressions.

I’m really feeling “D’Jango Jane”.. song goes. She spitting too. “Make Me Feel” is very “Kiss” by Prince melodically. I love it and the direction she’s going in musically. It sounds very unapologetic and the music is unfiltered. I can’t wait to hear Dirty Computer in full.

Word? I can make the argument that it’s one of the best produced R&B albums in the last 10-15 years. “Say You’ll Go” & “Babobyeya” alone shyts on anything sonically
