How is this a bad trade for either side? Harden wanted out Simmons wanted out. Both teams swapped problems and solved them. Simmons can defer to KD and Harden doesn't have to put up with part time players.

It's bad from the standpoint that Philly traded a choker in a secondary position to a choker who will be a 1b position and gave away Curry to the Nets who need him. Simmons will get to happily be 3rd banana behind KD and Kyrie and the 4th option on the offense. They can just let Ben sit under the basket and try to collect rebounds.

It's not hate. We've seen over the course of his career that Harden can't sustain let alone elevate his play in the playoffs
