Veteran
He's right. They basically tried to change it up by making the player development coach the old vet. I don't think that works as well as having a roster spot or two for vets.
A first ballot ball of famer? If veteran leadership is what made James Harden what he is then the league did the right thing by getting rid of it.
I kinda get it though. You come into the league at 19 and your "vet" is 23![]()
1st ballot magic city HOF as wellA first ballot ball of famer?
You mean a player who has never missed the NBA playoffs regardless of what team he is on? That Guy?If veteran leadership is what made James Harden what he is then the league did the right thing by getting rid of it.
Exactly and never missed a playoffs in his Life. The Harden disrespect because he hasnt won a ring yet is Asinine. It's also interesting the perception, right?
You don't have Harden's skill set without being a hard worker and gym rat. His first 7 seasons with Houston he averaged damn near 78+ games played with top 9 MVP finishes in all of them, top 3 in most of them.
That he was an alcoholic, womanizer, and strip club-monger throughout that is wild... but so is the fact that you also never heard him mixed up with DUIs, arrests, multiple baby mommas, domestic disputes, rape accussations, gun charges, not even a speeding ticket. At worst, that offseason incident overseas with his rapper friend during his BK days.
Basically, it'd be a blessing if Ja, Zion, Ant could bare minimum conduct themselves like that aka if the worst thing you could say about Zion is he fukks Kardashians and routinely leads his team to a WCFs/WCSF fumble... NOP would take that in a heartbeat.
