It's also interesting the perception, right?

You don't have Harden's skill set without being a hard worker and gym rat. His first 7 seasons with Houston he averaged damn near 78+ games played with top 9 MVP finishes in all of them, top 3 in most of them.

That he was an alcoholic, womanizer, and strip club-monger throughout that is wild... but so is the fact that you also never heard him mixed up with DUIs, arrests, multiple baby mommas, domestic disputes, rape accussations, gun charges, not even a speeding ticket. At worst, that offseason incident overseas with his rapper friend during his BK days.

Basically, it'd be a blessing if Ja, Zion, Ant could bare minimum conduct themselves like that aka if the worst thing you could say about Zion is he fukks Kardashians and routinely leads his team to a WCFs/WCSF fumble... NOP would take that in a heartbeat.

One of the biggest chokers in history who quit on 3 teams and paid more stripper’s tuition then Myron from Players Club

This y’all’s vet leadership?
You don’t do what James did and continues to do without knowing how to work and be professional.

Every nikka in the league on that party shyt..it’s just that nobody cares when it’s Jerryd Bayless

He's not the only person I've heard say this from other sports. That the guys considered to be veterans feel that their sports has evolved so much from when they first started out its like a different sport both on when participating/performing and off behind the scenes. Different mindsets different ways to doing things. The old-school ways is dying/dead which in a lot of cases is a good thing as those methods were bullying and not very helpful really. Even if most of the time it was to weed out the weak minded/mentality athletes. Got to evolve with the times. Every team need good leadership and experience but they have to be able to pull their weight with the younger generation otherwise they will be/get left behind.

Exactly

On one hand, if we want to criticize him for trying to cheat the system i think that's warranted

But let's also acknowledge it for what it is too... i.e. do you know what type of IQ you have to have (or time spent in the lab) to basically invent the gather dribble step back and have the NBA go: ":patrice:....... :manny: "

Or be able to adjust your game like he did from OKC to HOU to BK/PHI/LAC

Dude is a basketball genius who went too far down the rabbit hole. Tho the real reason he didn't win at least one ring (2018, 2021, etc) was more-so do to shyt-luck injuries.

He's right, but nikkas absolutely hate the messenger, so they gonna crack a joke and leave. :hubie:

Even with all the strip club shyt and that last year in Houston, Harden has always been a professional and a lot of young guys always talk really positively about him and how he's helped them develop.

James harden cosplayed as a volume score for 8 years lol. He is a PG by nature. leading the league in assists on three different teams is insane

This.

Nets actually looked better as a team when Harden had the ball playing with scrubs than they did with Kyrie/Durant.

I'm still convinced that OKC would have won eventually with the Durant/Harden combo rather than Durant/Russ
