This has been rumored for awhile. Even though we have this "rivalry", some of the producers work together behind the scenes. Also someone in one of the other threads that works in Hollywood said this was in the works. He sent me a comics explained video where dude outright said it.

Makes me laugh at the internet stan wars. It’s cool seeing those two sides cooperating with one another. Feige lending over the set to Gunn for the Peacemaker finale was very dope. I would hope both entities get back on track with their own material before anything else, but I’m obviously there Day 1 if a big screen crossover ever comes to fruition.

Yea, I can see Gunn fixing this whole DC mess and prepping it for a comicbook war with Fiege's support.

I still feel like they should scrap Flash and do a whole new Flashpoint paradox or at least have the actor that plays him sacrifice is life and die at the end so we have a new Flash in the DCU.

Always found it dope how responsive Gunn is on Twitter, even before the DCU move. He could easily cast aside questions and rumor mills from fans, but takes the time out of his day to thoroughly reply. Given how tight-lipped Hollywood can usually be, that level of transparency is refreshing.
