I'm sure they'll make the DCU Batman significantly different from Reeves'.

Reeves has been calling his movies and tv shows a crime saga.

And with Gunnn saying its the start of the introduction of the Batfamily, I'm sure we'll see other Robins, in their current roles.

I have no doubt they will be different.

My problem, one of the main ones from the Snyderverse, was stuff having no weight cause we didn’t see it. Joker killing a Robin meant nothing. If Grayson is already a Titan, we aren’t seeing his evolution out of Robin. We saw Sam Wilson Falcon for two and a half movies before he earned that Cap mantle. So Richard, Tim, or Barbara trying to help Damien could fall flat since we didn’t get the experience of them meeting Batman either.

Robin hasn’t been seen on screen in 20 years. He’s just getting an annoying, rude kid sidekick.

Damien and Richard, with flashbacks to his days as Robin with Bruce, could have been pretty good groundwork to start. But guess they were worried people would think Pattinson is the younger Batman.

I would prefer they did dikk Grayson but whatever I'm glad Robin is finally going to be given a significant role.

How dope would seeing Joker kill Jason Todd be on the big screen? Huge wasted opportunity.

I think they'll follow the tone of the Grant Morrison run which had the balance of fun and dark with some of the villains like Professor Pyg.

There are a few episodes from BTAS like Robin’s Reckoning that would be interesting flashbacks instead of boring prequel stories

This has been rumored for awhile. Even though we have this "rivalry", some of the producers work together behind the scenes. Also someone in one of the other threads that works in Hollywood said this was in the works. He sent me a comics explained video where dude outright said it.
