Everyone’s giving him his deserved props but if he was around today, y’all and y’all’s supreme leader Mullah Nasheed would all be calling him a bussy boy and part of the LGBT agenda to destroy Black masculinity and all that bullshyt.
Not all gays are the same

this man here is great and accomplished great things

He wasn’t waltzing around in gimp outfits during pride parades

He was a big proponent of the black community maintaining a nuclear family

He also didn’t have that as an acceptable option back then. As a gay man living in 2021 with an internet connection and social media, I’m sure he would’ve said more about his sexuality in public space if he was alive today. That alone would make y’all dismiss him as a “bussy boy” supporting the gay agenda or whatever.

Gay people exist, as long as they don't prioritize their sexuality over their blackness and understand what's going on then it's not a problem.

I mean there were people here following Yvette Carnell :mjlol:

Yvette Carnell is a woman. Being a gay man means anything you say will be dismissed in TLR. Any Black gay man alive that you could make a thread about anything they said or did would be summarily dismissed as a “bussy boy” in TLR and you know it.

That is not true at all. Again, if they are truly pro black we welcome them. The same way we welcome James Baldwin's works right now in 2021. The same way we welcome Luther, Frank Ocean, Little Richard.
