Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Some Jamaicans are obsessed with other people repping their flag and they will even go at it with another black person over it.

There’s a Jamaican girl I’m cool with who I never discuss country politics with because it often ends up with me yelling at her.

Not all Jamaicans of course but there is a clique of them who do this weird shyt

Not all skinfolk is kinfolk just because your disagree with a black persons and agreeing with a white person means you have self-hatred

True, but its usually a red flag that I would reevaluate my stance.
Like for instance lets take this thread right?

If Black Americans were simply clowning Adele, no problem imo.
If Black Americans were stating "Adele cannot wear this, its an insult to Jamaicans and it ruins their culture".. I would say hold on, let Jamaicans determine that.

No self-hatred, just gotta evaluate.

There are Nigerian traditions that... if a non-Nigerian spoke on them I would be like :patrice:

But if I saw a caccette wearing asoebi and trying to do the dance, I would laugh... and I wouldn't care that black Americans laughed too. :heh:

BUT, I sure as hell wouldn't get on twitter and start telling Black Americans to leave our Asoebi oyinbo princess alone and worry about police brutality and George Floyd :martin:

Twitter doesn’t mean anything....
And yet Donald Trump is president

You have to accept the fact that large portion of the world as well as this country gets their news from social media....word of mouth in the digital age

Then that shyt transfers over to WhatsApp and iMessages groups and all of a sudden a silent but deadly fart turns into chemical warfare

Really?

This is a fukking thing?

In a world where Trump is eroding the rights of black people in the US and emboldening white societies to do the same thing elsewhere we are fighting over an Adele carnival costume?

The fukk people?

We really looking to fight each other on this shytty hill?

Twitter doesn’t mean anything....
I agree with you but it kinda does sadly enough. It is apparent dudes aren't really living life outside of social media. Most of the stuff that's a thing here IRL you'd get clowned talking about. Online you can someone can find some random clown saying something it then becomes the majority way of life for some strange reason. How many thread been started by a tweet some person nobody knows said some irrelevant shyt?

Ans Tariq cant talk..

If i remember correctly his mother in law was draped in african clothing

Drop that pic and send it to his Twitter.

But when I see white women impersonate Jamaican culture, its insulting. Like, we been reduced to zoo animals that provide entertainment from a cage.

How is that hairstyle even Jamaican? Its one of those generic styles from Africa like corn rows, Senegalese twists, etc

Also, weren't there massive BLM protests across the African continent when George Floyd was murdered?

Looks like Tariq's children have a new target to hop on Twitter and pretend to be outraged about instead of contacting their congressmen and congresswomen and senators and making demands for the community other than "tangibles"

There's a reason why only low information Black Americans are finding issue with this...and this is from someone who is Black and born here

Are you giving millions of dollars to these people?

NO?

ok shut the entire fukk up they not gonna listen to your broke ass...:mjlol:
