That’s never been my experience in LA, which is like a second home to me. Everybody I’ve been close to, whether they been friends or family, are no different than Black folks I’ve dealt with from all over.

Now I know your perspective is common from folks who aren’t from there so I usually just chalk it up to confusing uppity transplants to actual natives and leave it alone.


But the diaspora war tie-in just threw me off because some of my closest closest people from LA are non-AA Black folks.

That’s why I say that shyt only exists on the internet and not in real life. My friend group is literally the United Nations. I have AAs, Haitians, Trini, Ghanaians, Nigerians, Ethiopians, Jamaicans all as friends. Literally didn’t know black folks don’t mess with each other due to ethnic difference until I downloaded that cesspool of an app called Twitter


fukk I wish I knew how to code, that app needed to die lowkey. I have a million better ideas for an app.
