another problem is Black American culture gets shared with everybody. Partially due to the American aspect and partially due to “inviting everyone to the cookout”“No culture” or “You all are lost/don’t know who you are”
Always confused the hell out of me, because growing up in the South, in areas that aren’t so urban, I as a Black American, have culture and home training. Problem is, you have other Black Americans, ashamed of themselves, their families, their culture, their ancestors, all while hating the black folks around them, spouting this nonsense, and then others outside pick it up and start spouting it as well.
