But some in Toronto take it too far. I hate that shyt and I don't talk like that. I knew dudes who couldn't turn that shyt off. Couldn't even order a drink at a bar. One time I seen a dude at the club trying to buy an alcoholic drink and he's asking for a juice which was common slang for alcohol at the time for whatever reason. The bartender looked so lost. I'm laughing at that point because there's a ton of drinks behind the bar and all of them qualify as a juice except the actual juice.

It's this goofy mix of Jamaican and Canadian/hoser. It's always seemed like a put on accent to me. I heard it growing up in Toronto and still hear it today from guys (Black, white, South Asian) I know don't really talk like that.
