The Chiefs can’t stop the run. They soft like twinkies in between the numbers. The time of possession would’ve been the same with Ramsey.
It don’t matter now but if they had him they could stack the run and play man defense but obviously don’t matter now

Well this frees up a DB or LB they needed in pass coverage to stay on the line.

Doesn't matter if your LB corps is one of the worst in the NFL(which it is). Add into the fact the Rams basically gave up a fortune to get the guy, this was an easy pass for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs should trade for a guy like Leonard Williams from the Jets. He's a JAG but he's better than what they have on their DL

Reason why those fakes didn’t work in the super bowl. Patriots weren’t afraid of Gurley and Put the game in Goffs hands and Goff turned into a goofy. That guy is not ready for a sophisticated scheme and the Receivers can’t get the separation when the defense not even worried about Gurley. Patriots were literally playing the Zero Blitz all night.

Rams pass offense is based around Gurley and play action; it's no surprise Goff has been trash since Gurley's been hurt/ineffective.

I really don't understand this move for the Rams. I don't see how this makes them better than the Seahawks or the 49ers(their defense is legit). They've got a whole lot of money tied up in a bum like Goff and a guy with a bad knee in Gurley... plus they won't have a first rounder for 5 years so their depth is gonna suffer. This is a move that if the Rams don't win a Super Bowl this year, you will look back 5 years from now and say it was a complete disaster.

You mean 2 years...they traded the next two firsts for him

And what's the odds of drafting a player in the first round that is on Ramsey's level? Extremely low.

They didn't have a first rounder in 2017 2018 2019 and just traded their next two first rounders. Five years with no firsts is a long time.

Ramsey is good but he doesn't fix their OL, he doesn't fix Gurley's arthritic knee, he doesn't fix Goff being a huge overpaid bum... just not a smart deal. In addition you already have to give him a huge contract next year if you wanna keep him(or franchise him)

Damn, was hoping the Seahawks would get him. We’re putting a lot of trust in Flowers and Thorpe.

I was looking forward to Metcalf burning Peters a few times a game :francis:
Yeah, that would've been a good pick up, but who (and what) do you think Pete would've gave up for Ramsey?
