How does Cade not pop but Lamelo did? (Granted I’ll admit i was wrong about Lamelo because of his size and lack of shooting coming into the league).

Did y’all like Lamelo’s burst off the dribble and not in love with Cades? Cause Cades physique will translate. He isn’t as explosive as Jalen but he gets where he wants and get up whatever shot he wants to at every level.
LaMelo has the passing flair, and his game is just much more noticeable for some reason.

Fultz is good he just fukked up the nerves in his shoulder.

Is he in the same class as Tatum? No. That was my point.

I never said he would be an outright bust. I compared him to Eric Gordon. Said he could be a solid starter. But he was no superstar. And that has proven to be true.

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
See my post from earlier. I get that that’s gonna be the surface comp people will throw out but they are just very different style players
I'm not comparing Jalen to the LaVine I saw coming out of UCLA tho, I'm comparing Jalen to the LaVine I see today in Chicago. There's no doubt Jalens' more advanced at the same age

What I like about Green is he doesn't have to dominate the ball( i.e. point forward, Luka, Harden) to score, the iso and picking his spots reminds me so much of 90-2000s shooting guards. While Cade is more polished at this point, his lack of athleticism with ball domination kind of worries me next level, I see middle-tier Jamal Mashburn type of arc in the league best case scenario(which ain't bad, mash was beast)

Cade isn’t really ball dominate tho. He can play off ball, and the play in the post. How the fukk is he Jamal Mashburn? Lol

I haven't seen it, I have watched about 6 college games of his, and have dominated the ball each time(why they call him a point forward i.e. Grant Hill comparisons) he did play mid-high post which is where the Mashburn comparison comes in.....

you just like him because he gets Kobe comparisons and does his best work on iso.

That said, the Cade Cunningham as a lock at #1 talk is a little crazy. If he can't run point he becomes a slow ass SG.

Everyone usually ignores this fact until it becomes undeniable after their second season

Well I think that’s a bad comparison but ok.

Ultimately I like Jalen Green as well, it’s really a loaded draft. But as of now the only thing green has over Cade is Athletic ability :francis:

In Today’s nba you don’t even need that as a point guard. James Harden looks flabby in the athletic department but he’s playing the best basketball in the league atm.

Cade is no slouch athletically but he def ain’t no green.

Cade is the consensus number 1 pick, with Mobley at 2.
