I couldn't imagine watching boxing and saying "fukk the Welterweights! They're too small! I'm not watching anything below Light Heavyweight!" :heh:

Do you read posts or do you just skim through them?

I tried to explain this nicely before without just coming out and shytting on you and you're terrible arguments but damn you just can't seem to grasp it so I'll try again...nicely.

You keep bringing up boxing and MMA when its already been explained to you in this thread by me and others that the shyt doesn't correlate with pro wrestling which is a work and based more on image and presentation, thus the need to 'look the part'.

Second, you with this welterweight shyt again. I never said I don't like or watch smaller divisions ( I enjoy them all) and again BOXING HAS WEIGHT CLASSES!!!!

Welterweights can't fight heavyweights. Why? BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO fukkING SMALL!!!

Wrestling doesn't have all the different weight classes like boxing does ( and remember its World HEAVYWEIGHT Champion so again, fans and other wrestlers aren't exactly crazy for wanting or expecting the World HEAVYWEIGHT Champion to a.) be a heavyweight or b.) look like he could kick someones ass.

You may not agree with it but that doesn't make it wrong.

I'm a boxing head but I can't rock with anything below 140, I grew up on the big guys with size Middleweight and Heavyweight.

How is that even relatable to wrestling though?? Welterweights dont fight light heavyweights in boxing.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts Talks Racism In Wrestling, Thoughts On The Rock - Wrestling Inc.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts recently spoke with the FlipDaScript podcast, where he spoke about racism in wrestling. Roberts said he saw it first hand and that he believes the stories told about racism in WWE.

"There's always been racism in every walk of life as far as I remember, man," Roberts said. "When I was in the third grade they integrated, man. Hell, I didn't know what this black and white thing was, and I never have. I don't understand it today. I don't know why the white man was so messed up to pull that bulls--t.

"It was wrong, it's always been wrong," he said. "Slavery is not a good thing for anybody, that's bulls--t. We're all living and breathing, man, we ought to be able to sit down at the table together."

Roberts continued, saying African-American wrestlers were treated horribly when he was first coming up in wrestling.

"They've always been used, man," he said. "Back in the 70s, whenever I first got into wrestling, I seen that s--t. They were never pushed to the top, they were always held back. They were the better athletes, and it was wrong man. Some of them bowed down and played the game, went out there and acted like a fool, which is what the white man wanted at the time, wanted to humiliate them. That s--t's wrong man, it's always been wrong. I don't have time to waste on that bulls--t man, we all know it and we all see it."

Roberts was asked his thought about The Rock, calling him "fabulous" and saying he had that "it" factor.

"He had the 'it,' he had a hell of a body too, he did everything a great wrestler does," he said. "He performed, he could talk his ass off and he was built like a brick s--thouse, man. Motherf--ker put together. You look at The Rock in those days, that looked like a goddamn man out in the ring."

Don't agree with him. Certainly not with Bret anyway - dude drew the world over for WWE.

Doesn't surprise me though.

Doesn't change my opinion of Jake as the best wrestler to never hold a top strap.

He was a "normal-sized" mid-carder in the era of giants. Of course when people that look more like him start getting the headline shine, he's gonna feel bitter. :yeshrug:

At least he's staying clean. :salute: Praise DDP. :blessed:

Jake is 6'5 though way bigger than hbk and bret. Taller than Steve Austin aswell... Jake wasn't a normal sized dude by wrestling standards. Dude was type flabby but still a big dude

Roberts was in that Barry Windham, Danny Spivey lane of tall lanky dudes who could move well.

:dwillhuh:

Thats exactly what a lot of people say though. There is a reason why heavyweight was always the glamour division.

Been rewatching some old Shawn and Bret matches. fukk all the draw shyt, but nobody portrayed being a fighting champion than the HitGOAT. Hickenbottom struggled a lil bit as a character when he first got the strap even though the match with Mankind was an all timer.
