When was the last time a fight was cancelled because of weight tho? Usually it's a forfeiture or fine. If a belt is involved then it usually no longer isn't.

Something not quite right with this.

THANK YOU

All these casual ass takes online, fights rarely get flat out cancelled cuz its a whole fukking card. Thats a dozen fighters not getting paid.

I would imagine if both headliners got injured itd have to be cancelled but I have legit not seen it happen in recent memory if ever. Especially on the fukking scale

It's nothing for a heavyweight to dehydrate 10-15lbs if needed. I could understand if he weighed 215 at the weigh-in the day before the fight, but cancelling a week in advance?:mjlol:

Everything Jake Paul says is cap. He was shook to fight KSI for goodness sake, but I'm supposed to believe he wants to fight a pro heavyweight? There are Coli posters that would whoop him with ease.

believe their was a rehydration clause so he actually had to lose lean mass or something.

i personally dont care this shyt was cancelled....im over this circus shyt

tommy fury had no heart

i would be blaming rahman more IF jake paul didnt cancel this shyt a week before...because its a whole week left for him to at least try to knock off the weight which numerous boxers have done in the past..unfortunately he will prolly be blacklisted by showtime since he signed a contract

jake stipulating and manipulating to the point where he would have to gamble and risk getting knocked out which frightened him...on top of that...he didn't search for a replacement opponent?!!!! :gucci:

jake paul is not a real professional boxer....and should not or never been seen as one until he can show an ability to beat seasoned/experience BOXING journeyman with no restrictions outside of making weights of CW or not if heavyweight..no fukking catchweights....he has some power and some boxing ability for non boxers and MMA but not anything else

and fukk WBC for talking that ranking shyt...get the fukk out of here.....borrowed time

apparently there was a cruiser replacement on rahman team, jake just didn't want to go through with that either.

Yeah... Sounds like he didn't want to take that chance of losing.

I truly believe if he ever fought an actual fighter that he would get taken to school if not hurt really bad. And if they happens, all the nerds he brought over to the sport will be gone.

Hilarious that once he tried to make fights with supposedly real boxers like his critics wanted the fights started falling apart

Plus he's just not a draw after all of these shenanigans. He struggled to sell out MSG. Should've been a easy sell out if he's such a big name. He's gonna have to fight Tommy Fury, KSI or someone like that (MVP maybe?) in the UK to sell tickets

Paul didn't want to fight him at 210-215....plain and simple.

Not a month ago...not now.

I'm going to use your argument. HASIM knew he wouldn't make 200 when he signed the contract....so he planned to only get to 215 and then say hey...just pay me peanuts.

Therefore he really is an unprofessional bum.

I saw the video...not one apology for not meeting his obligations. His goal was to beat Paul under circumstances only he knew he could....by weighing 215 and getting paid 5k for the clout

Now he back to being a nobody.....lol
Like I mentioned earlier, there's usually fines or forfeiture of pay or something. But I'm still trying to see when a fight has actually been cancelled because of weight.

Something else happened and only Paul and his camp really knows why the fight was cancelled.

Of course Doc ..he had a lane he should have never deviated from...his story isnt new...they all end up spectacularly beaten or if lucky they get get badly shook up which makes them move on to something else...the ability to talk in boxing isnt shyt unless you can back it up...he can back it up against MMA cats and other pro athletes but even the right lowliest boxing journeyman put their foot in his ass at this point

Yep. Like I been saying, this is a business decision.

This fight was going to bomb. Tickets were not moving at all.

Paul has no path but fighting the MMA dudes.

It seems like everybody in the boxing community has come to the same conclusion. Paul eventually realized he was fighting a real fighter and got cold feet.

The fight isn't happening because Rahman said he wasn't fighting below 215. There is video of Rahman on a scale a month ago weighing 216. Either Rahman didn't want to fight or thought he could force Jake into fighting him at his preferred weight. No boxer on the box office level that Jake is at is going to fight a last min replacement or let the opponent weigh whatever they want.

In the video posted, Hacket says he'll fight at 200, which is where he's at, or come in lower if they want. Why can he lose the weight but Rahman can't? All Rahman had to do was lose 11 pounds in 30 days and he chose not to
