If Rahman doesn't beat Jake Paul, it's a fix.

There's no way that Jake can actually win this fight. Rahman is Heavyweight, so he's bigger than Jake. Plus has way more experience.

Rahman has been helping Jake prepare for fights for 2 years. So there's familiarity. Either Jake has come away thinking very little of Rahman Jr from their sparring sessions, or the fix is in
rahman not gone do it breh....

Rahman bout to take a L I feel. There’s a reason Paul picked him after sparring a couple times. Rahman might not have the juice.

Besides this fight this card is actually looking decent.

Lmao @

1. Y'all are interested so much in this when it has no effect on big league boxing, Rahman ain't even a top 200 boxer at HW and Paul is a 600 something cruiserweight per Boxrec. Nothing will change at all in the world of boxing whoever wins

2. Some of you think Jake Paul has some super computer matchmakers that can predict the future and tell what is too much for him and what's not. Matchmakers even fukk it up often with seasoned pros who they know a lot more about because they saw them fighting actual pros, multiple different styles, it's a hard job like that.
But you're telling me they can predict, what a guy that neither has fought a pro boxer nor anyone his size till now will do to a HW boxer, however, mediocre/bad the HW is.

Some of you bought too much into the hype because he knocked an old, smaller MMA guy out. In the first fight he struggled and looked mid against the same guy, how can yall be so sure he stops an actual HW boxer :why:

BJ Flores: NY Athletic Commission Advised Jake Paul Against Facing Rahman Jr.

BY RYAN BURTON
Published Wed Jul 27, 2022, 06:24 AM EDT
Jake Paul (5-0) surprised many when he selected Hasim Rahman Jr. (12-1) to replace Tommy Fury as his opponent for his August 6th Showtime distributed pay-per-view showdown. The fight will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York.

A replacement fighter was needed because Fury currently isn’t allowed by the United States government to enter the country.

Paul’s co-trainer, BJ Flores, is well aware of how dangerous an opponent Rahman is. In fact, he said that state officials in New York warned Paul of the danger he will be facing.

“The New York State athletic commission advised against it. They said Rahman was too experienced. Rahman had over 100 amateur fights and has 13 professional fights plus he’s used to fighting bigger guys. He grew up around boxing and boxing himself in amateur tournaments,” Flores told BoxingScene.com.

Rahman grew up around boxing because he is the son of former unified heavyweight champion Hasim “Rock” Rahman. The elder Rahman captured the IBF, IBO, and WBC heavyweight titles in 2001 when he stopped Lennox Lewis. He lost the titles 7 months later in their rematch.

The younger Rahman lost his most recent fight in April when he was stopped in the 5th round versus James “Kenzie” Morrison in Las Vegas. Even though he lost, he was doing well in the fight up until the moment he was caught.

Rahman is a far more of an advanced fighter than what most prospects face in their 6th professional bout.

“Rahman was beating a 20-0 undefeated heavyweight in Kenzie Morrison 4 rounds to 0 before the stoppage. It was 40-36 on all three scorecards. This is a dangerous fight,” said Flores.

I read the fight was doing garbage ticket sales and low PPV number expected. It had no hype. Not surprised to see it canceled.

The fight was canceled because the boxer was unable to lose weight

This fight had more hype than his previous fights
