I don't understand how people keep falling for these Paul brothers fights. He's not fighting someone he's doesn't think he can't beat and Mike Tyson is almost 60 years old. First I disagree narratives have power and while white people might call their actions the pursuit of white supremacy we as black people should recognize it as the pursuit of white mediocrity. The children of participation awards have grown up and they want a version of that from life.

Finally, and this is the hardest idea to wrap our heads around because capitalism made us. We grew up watching lifestyles of the rich and famous or cribs. Social media is 24/7 propaganda for consumerism.

While money is important it isn’t the only way to measure success and some BUMS can make all money they want and still be a motherfukking joke.
