I've been in quite a few jails and I've never seen bedbugs surprisingly, the outbreak would be unreal if there were bedbugs with how often inmates get moved.

respectfully speaking, it was infections that worsen their condition. The flies just finish the job because they would lay eggs or give other deadly diseases to the poor b*stard.

You gotta check the bugs though. There's forensic biologists that do it for a living. A mosquito isn't going to fly on to a death body. There's no blood circulation, theres no heat. You're worthless to them at that point. Depending on the stage of decomp, combined with the temperature and time, various bugs and shyt might've been attracted or left. Fleas and ticks leave the body, unknown if it's been long enough for flies to lay eggs and maggots to grow.

An autopsy will show how bad the infestation is. Dude likely had scabies. Probably has dead bugs in his heart and lungs.

To put it simply that's how police determine, well she was killed in a house then left in the woods, or she's been dead in the woods for 2 days, well she's been dead in the woods for 3 weeks. Shes been dead in the abandoned garage for 9 days....

This is the only thing that makes sense. You’d have to be completely immobile and debilitated in order for you to be eaten alive by bed bugs. And I’m sure he was let out of his cell to eat, shower, smoke, socialize, etc. And c.o.’s regularly check on inmates as well
