LeBron's defensive career was basically 2009-13, and his d was always overrated. His stans seem to think him getting a flashy chase down block every other game that ESPN showed over and over again, and he and his team loading up on D-Rose for one-and-a-half quarters total in the 2011 ECF's means he's a great defender.

Bron Bron got lit up by just about every quality player he tried to guard one-on-one. Rondo, George, Durant, Kawhi, etc. It's always the same story. Because he stopped playing defense after 2013, I don't have any very recent examples, but I'm sure the story will remain the same.
