Jahlil just a rookie being hype in the moment:yeshrug:

Plus he gotta get beat by Bron a couple times a year for the next few years...that's direct competition, he's smart for using that psychology:ehh:

(Or maybe not so smart:troll:)

Lebron is the most clutch playoff shooter in his era, if you go by actual numbers.

Lebron is the best Game 7 scorer in NBA history.

Lebron has some of the most iconic playoff performances (the 48 game against Detroit, the 45-15-5 elimination game against Boston, the 37-12-8 against San Antonio in Game 7) in the 21st century.

But yeah, Lebron only "chokes" in the playoffs.

2007 - Swept and averaged 18ppg vs Spurs

Carried a team with Boobie Gibson as his co-star to the Finals, including an incredible 48-point game against Boston where he scored 25 straight in 4th/overtime.

2008 - destroyed by Celtics

Scored 45 in Game 7 against the NBA champ Celtics and barely lost with...I can't even remember...as his best teammate. Kobe faced the same team with a far better lineup and got blown out by 40 points to lose the series in 6.

2009- destroyed by fukkin Dwight Howard (same Magic team Kobe took out in 5)

Averaged 38-8-8 against Orlando, made a huge game-winner in game 2, and still lost because literally no one else on his team could guard anyone on Orlando.

Lebron looked FAR better against Orlando than Kobe did, but the Lakers had someone who could actully defend Dwight and the Cavs didn't.

2010- choked vs Celtics and quit in game 5

Averaged 28-8-8 against a stacked Celtics team that took the Lakers to 7, and were a Perkins injury or a lucky MWP shot away from winning it all.

And he had a 27-19-10 game just one game after he supposedly "choked".

2011- one of the all time sports choke jobs

Dallas had a really good defensive game plan against Lebron, Lebron didn't know how to counter it, and he fell apart. Definitely his worst playoff performance, but it only came after he dominated Boston and Chicago in the playoffs, with that Bulls team one that a ton of people said was going to beat him.

Oh yeah, you conveniently skipped Lebron coming back from 3-2 down against the Celtics in one of the most lethal playoff performances ever, then destroying a healthy Durant-Westbrook-Harden-Ibaka Thunder team in just 5 games.

2013- choked down the stretch in game 6 and was saved by Ray Allen

Lebron "choked" in a 32-10-11 game where he had 16 points and 4 assists in the 4th/overtime, including a 3pt with 20 seconds left that cut the lead to 2 and a jumper with 2 minutes left in overtime that was the last made shot of the game and gave the Cavs the lead for good. Ray's game-tying three was the ONLY shot in the last 10 minutes of the game that Lebron didn't score or assist.

And let's forget Lebron winning back-to-back game 7's, including the greatest scoring performance in a Game 7 in Finals history with his 37-12-8 finishing touch on the thing.

2014- absolutely shut down by Khwai Leanord and embarrassed

The only time in history that averaging 28-8-4 on 57%/52%/79% shooting splits will be referred to as "absolutely shut down".

2015 - shot 33% in the 4th Q of games and outplayed by Curry

That stat sounds made up. He shot 42% in the 4th quarter of the 5 games that weren't blowouts, and he put up double-digits in the 4th in every one of those games.

And outplayed by Curry? A rare moment when 26-6-4 and 0 Finals MVP votes is considering outplaying 36-13-9 and 4 Finals MVP votes.

You are consistently an awful poster.

Got Damn... nikkas sitting up here breaking down numbers..

Jahlil and others like Kobe Game better cause that nikka style of play is way better than that stiff hot dog LeBron...

nikkas sit back and watch LeBron and all they see is a big hgh nikka who muscle his way to the hole, who disrespect other nba players by bringing up with no reason he only friends and associate with CPO, fat melo and broken down knees wade and could careless about others...a nikka who care more about how the public see him than being himself and admit he's a piece of shyt...

nikkas in the league know kobe a scum bag and Kobe knows to, that's why nikkas repect him more cause he's comfortable being himself

RENTON, Wash. -- A couple years ago, after the Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl, cornerback Richard Sherman met Kobe Bryant at a photo shoot.

"He said he was a fan of mine, which put my heart in my stomach," Sherman said. "I was just super nervous and super happy to see him. But that was a big deal for me."

Sherman grew up in Compton, California, watching the Los Angeles Lakers and was 8 years old when Bryant broke into the NBA.

Kobe Bryant's Farewell Season

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant will retire after this season. We have all of the news, reaction and analysis covered, and we'll break down what 20 years of the Mamba has meant to the NBA.
Complete Coverage
Sherman wasn’t a huge basketball fan, but his grandma was. So Sherman would sit in front of the TV, and soon Bryant became his favorite player.

When the two met, Sherman told Bryant the influence he’d had on him.

"I told him how much I appreciated everything he brought to the game and his work ethic and his mentality because I think it rubbed off on me in some ways," Sherman said. "At the end of the day, you never know who you’re touching with your game or with your approach or with your passion. So you should always play as hard as you can and show who you truly are every play because you never know who’s watching. And I try to take that approach to my game."

Sherman added that Bryant’s competitiveness was always what stood out.

"Just always admired his work ethic and the way he approached the game," Sherman said. "The determination, the competitiveness. He seemed like one of those guys that if he had a 7-year-old daughter, he’d beat her in basketball just to say he won. He’s not going to let anybody just win, and I always admired that about him.

"Kobe, we appreciate you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for basketball."
