I dont deny that. I remember knicks fans being pissed and i went to their thread either here or another site and said relax that kid is gonna be good. Carmelo was pissed about the pick and i was saying he needs to stfu cause id rather build around porzingis than him.
So yeah most didnt think he'd be good. Im no proffesional scout but im perplexed how little they can see when they have the players right infront of them. My criticism is more front offices than fans. They had no excuse.
I was laughing when Phil made the pick cause i knew dude knew all along he got the steal. Same with embiid who teams i knew then hinkie might know what he was doing and was convinced he'd take porzingis. Oh well.
Another one that perplexed me was how Drummond went 10th.. And cousins 5th. Those were years i scouted cause wizards had picks.

So pretty much your like a basketball prophet or someshyt? Get all the way outta here with this retrospective bullshyt. fukk you wasting time on the couch for you clearly have plenty to offer an actual NBA team :mjlol:

OKAFOR needs to come in off the bench and beat up 2nd units in the post surrounded by shooters.

He isn't a starting 4 or 5 in the NBA b/c he cant protect the rim or stretch but he can be Enes Kanter on steroids getting 20 points a night against back ups

He looks pretty good to me considering his age. His defense is improving too. He isn't going to be as bad as people think

He's not getting traded, nerlens 'no hands' noel aka Samuel dalembert 2.0 is currently disgruntled and on the last year of his contract and will be traded once he comes back from his 'elective' surgery

Average 17 ppg as a rookie and do it efficiently and not be a starter in the L, cause every starting 4 and 5 in the L are great rim projectors :comeon:

breh who cares how many points he averaged on a :trash: team.

Michael Carter Williams was ROY on that team and he's trash too.

He is a flawed, incomplete player, but he has a fantastic low post game and can score in bunches......he'd be $$$$ coming off the bench and blowing up 2nd units

y'all don't watch Sixers games, cut it out. you catch 5 minutes of him struggling against a good Rockets team and you can write the book on him. this subforum loves this "I said it first" shyt, writing off players that end up being good, just so they can have a chance to up a thread later.
raw

here's the facts:
  • The 76ers are not a good offensive team. half of the time he's operating in very little space, isolating too far from the basket and scoring in spite of that.
  • He's on a minutes restriction and regularly has nights off which makes it hard to string together any momentum.
  • His on-ball defense has improved, at least from an effort standpoint.
  • He's 20 years old.

:lawd: preach

Bwett literally put him in the worst position possible as a rookie, no perimeter defenders, no playmaker to get him the ball (until ish), a PF next to him that can't stretch, a PF next to him that stays leaving his man to reach for steals or jumping for weak side blocks causing him to have to rotate, and to top it off he only got the ball 15 feet away from the basket and was asked to isolate all the time.(no pick and rolls) Imagine zingas under those conditions. Check jahs assisted fg%. And he still scored efficiently

Not just the points the fact that he did it efficiently and created those baskets by himself, he puttin his nuts all in Rudy goberts face and you talking bout 2nd units just stop it man
