That's not how it works. These people are in the same field. Producers work with a lot of beautiful women. Because its music, they develop a chemistry. A lot of personal information and moments (inside and out of the studio) are shared. Next thing you know the producer and the artist are in a relationship. So in that sense, he's getting paid, but also sleeping with the artist, but she isn't sleeping with him for music. Example, Madonna and Niles Rogers were an item. Prince had all these women who were his artists (Shelia E. and Vanity), but he was in relationships with. Scott Storch and Lil' Kim were together.

This isn't some "oh, I need that beat and I will sleep with you for that beat" type deal ya'll making it out to be.

Producers aren't seeing that type of action like that anyway. A songwriter is more likely to have a singer sleep with him for a song. Why? Because he's giving her a completed song as opposed to just a beat.
