That’s over lol. Social media interconnected everyone, kids in Atlanta, Watts and Brooklyn all use the same slang, watch the same content, dress alike, etc… Everybody is connected bro…prior to social media it was different, different regions’ styles and talk and all that was foreign (and funny) to us…and ours to theirs. Of course, this kid is just typing, he’s not really thinking, lol.

The kids sound like what’s currently hot, 🤷🏽‍♂️…if traditional NY sound makes a comeback, kids in NY and everywhere else will be jackin that.

Traditional NY sound never really sold records like that as much as I love it.

Honestly, people don’t want to hear this but the last big New York crossover act wasn’t Pop Smoke it was Cardi. I also don’t think thats the type of sound people are referring to but it’s the only thing that could have revived New York if she kept going and putting more people on.

Female rap movement pretty much fizzled out at this point, again.

It's over, man. It's never coming back. Lol.

These nikkas wanna be in front the bodega, not in the studio.

I feel like some native tongue type stuff from new york could probably have a chance of making a resurgence more than anything. At least it's what I would like to hear from y'all at least.
