The point I was getting at we don't really have execs taking chances in the action genre except for John Wick series. I can't really think of execs putting money into an action franchise except for Fast Franchise and Mission Impossible. Most of these films aren't allowing actors to do their own stunts which is making these action films not hit as hard as they did back then. I think we're losing the grittiness and stuff is becoming to overproduced due to reliance on technology which is making some of these action films not age well.
