Thus was good. I don't know if it's AOTY but it's definitely in the conversation.

Great album. It's probably my second fav one from him.
Sadly he just can't get the props he deserves. Crazy thing is I think he's to lyrical.... he'd prob have to go the juice world route and sing and talk slow on songs to really pop

His streams aren't looking too bad so far, hopefully the momentum continues as word of mouth spreads.

I hope they can get "2007" onto the album proper, such a dope song.

This just shows you marketing is everything this is To Pimp a Butterfly on steroids but I haven’t heard a word about this yet :russ:

Also sonically JID and Earthgangs album sounds so much better than Cole’s. They can’t use the same engineer

This is nowhere near TPAB :comeon:

It's good but nothing stands out like crazy....people comparing this to Andre3000 and Aquemini :mjlol:

Nice pleasant album but the more I listen to it the less depth I hear.

Couldn't even get through a full song. Sounds too much like Kendrick for me and that style is too distinct to be overtly influenced by. I see people giving this 10 out of 10 and i turned the album off in minutes.

So you didn’t like the first couple minutes of the first song and just didn’t listen to anymore? Have you listened to JID music before?
