I haven’t listened to this much since it came out. I don’t know what it is because there aren’t any bad songs and Cole is spittin, but I would still probably rank this his 4th best album (not including the mixtapes).

Although Sideline Story was ultimately successful, if you take 80% of FNL and 20% of SS and combine them you have a stone cold classic
Yea Sideline Story didn’t even feel like a Cole album to me. Both him and Drizzy first official albums was super mid. Kendrick had Section 80 which I like the most out of all his albums even tho GKMC is certified.

Its my second favorite cole album after 4YEO

Oh man, 4YEO is my least favorite Cole project to be honest. Outside of "Neighbours" and "Deja Vu" I don't go back to anything from that album. Maybe "Immortal" as well. Each to their own though.

I actually fukk with "Sideline Story" more than most people though. I've got some great memories to that album and although it felt like a watered down version of "Friday Night Lights" I really like Cole's hungry rapping style at that stage of his career.
