Ive never been a big fan, but dude make good music and seems cool

He even responds well to criticism. I've never seen him get bent outta shape or vitriolic with someone so I don't get the hate people have for him

I was at the airport in Indianapolis after "In Da Club" dropped. When I saw Irv for the 1st time since the record hit radio, I looked at him like "We got a problem on our hands"

Irv didn't know me or anything like that, I just told him "you got soldiers here in the Midwest if you need us. Just give us the word"

I never thought it was an instant classic. Good, but not classic. It only gets classic status because of the impact it made.

I personally feel for an album to be considered a classic, it has to be a combination of impact, quality and timelessness. At least two of the three.
