With NXT being a main brand now Io gonna get the moments and recognition she deserves going forward
She definitely deserves it, and to think about how she must have felt having her original WWE contract rescinded because of injury and being banished back to the relative obscurity of the joshi scene, to joining WWE and, despite being the best female wrestler of her generation, being presented as Kairi's sidekick and racking up L after L including:
- being pinned clean in 10 minutes in the finals of the MYC
- being pinned clean by goddamn Daria Whateverthefukk (MMA lez) in that World's Collide shyt
- tapping out clean to Shayna and then losing again in the rematch
and yet through all that, maintained and steadily increased her popularity by being just fukking obviously excellent, to the point where her overness with the crowd rivals that of their most popular babyface (Rhea Ripley, who is getting the superwoman push). That Chicago TakeOver crowd were hype af for Io, it must have been six or seven separate occasions where they chanted her name
RAW plus however many kids she wants
