I agree. However, the comments are usually repetitive and predictable so at times looking at the comments gets redundant. It's at the point now that I can look at what an article is about and guess what the comments will be. I'll almost always be right.

Yep accompanied by some horrific spelling. Now what I don't get is how the same exact comments seem to make their way from story to story, using almost the exact same lingo every time.

I agree, though I feel the need to add that you only have to read the comment section maybe 5-7 times, after the 4th time you'll notice that most of the time it's the same comments over and over. My favorite one is the sarcastic Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson replies that get left under stories about a black on black crime or a black on white crime.
