Truth is, most men feel this way deep down. The fukked up part is that nobody wants to hear a man complain about anything; definitely not women -- and even OTHER men don't want to hear another man complain about their life.

We're supposed to just deal with the cruelness and absurdity of life with a smile on our faces as we fight each other for power, money, prestige and women.

The irony is that it's only those aforementioned things that make a man valuable in this society. So you feel miserable without having them, you feel miserable working toward them, and you feel miserable once you finally obtain them, because other people typically only want to be around you as a man if you have those things in the first place, which further perpetuates this cycle.

Life for 98% of men in this world is a life of quiet despair.

Get some bytches jk

Honestly this is super common thinking. I’m pretty sure everyone at some point has had this exact thought.
that's not true though, most people go through life not questioning anything.

Existential crisis is a bytch. Like I’ll be cleaning the house listening to music, bright sunny day, happy as fukk then something will say in the back of my mind “ you know it’s all pointless right? One day your family and everyone you love will be gone and nobody will remember you” :dahell:

meanwhile my cat just be licking his balls, eating and sleeping all day without a care in the world. Mutherfukker is only 10 years old and don’t even know he got maybe 6 years left.

Human intelligence is the greatest gift and greatest curse I swear.

I been dealing with this for years now and yea it’s just pointless

I just try to keep saying nobody cares anyways and nobody gonna save you so you just have to keep going

The gym is the only thing I have in my life to keep me going I legit would most likely be dead by now without the gym
@Da_Eggman what job/career do you have? Do you make a lot of money?

I reccomm Ecclesiastes 1:9 -12 OP. Seems like maybe you have finally woken up.

Pleasures Are Meaningless

2 I said to myself, “Come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good.” But that also proved to be meaningless. 2 “Laughter,” I said, “is madness. And what does pleasure accomplish?” 3 I tried cheering myself with wine, and embracing folly—my mind still guiding me with wisdom. I wanted to see what was good for people to do under the heavens during the few days of their lives.
4 I undertook great projects: I built houses for myself and planted vineyards. 5 I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them. 6 I made reservoirs to water groves of flourishing trees. 7 I bought male and female slaves and had other slaves who were born in my house. I also owned more herds and flocks than anyone in Jerusalem before me. 8 I amassed silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and provinces. I acquired male and female singers, and a harem[a] as well—the delights of a man’s heart. 9 I became greater by far than anyone in Jerusalem before me. In all this my wisdom stayed with me.
10 I denied myself nothing my eyes desired;
I refused my heart no pleasure.
My heart took delight in all my labor,
and this was the reward for all my toil.
11 Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done
and what I had toiled to achieve,
everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind;
nothing was gained under the sun.

Wisdom and Folly Are Meaningless

12 Then I turned my thoughts to consider wisdom,
and also madness and folly.
What more can the king’s successor do
than what has already been done?
13 I saw that wisdom is better than folly,
just as light is better than darkness.
14 The wise have eyes in their heads,
while the fool walks in the darkness;
but I came to realize
that the same fate overtakes them both.
15 Then I said to myself,
“The fate of the fool will overtake me also.
What then do I gain by being wise?”
I said to myself,
“This too is meaningless.”
16 For the wise, like the fool, will not be long remembered;
the days have already come when both have been forgotten.
Like the fool, the wise too must die!

But if you dont read it,to sum it up your life is meaningless. You are supposed to be living for god.
@Still Benefited how do you live for God? What are the things we are supposed to do throughout the day to live for God?

Find something bigger than yourself to believe in. A lot of y'all new and enlightened nikkas shyt on God and/or religion, while having nothing to ground yourselves to, but that's one thing that can help fill that void. Believe in something greater than yourself - it doesn't matter if it's bullshyt or not.

But why should our lives be any different than the billions of people that lived, suffered, and died before us?
nobody said all that, this shyt is just boring and mundane. i also can’t sit alone too much or i start thinking too deep. the repetitiveness of life effects everyone in all walks, no matter their status. im just trying to clock out now

everything gets old after a while whether you’re just fighting for scraps, or on the other hand of if you’re already used to everything.

i started thinking like that after George Floyd died.... there is no solution to the problem of anti blackness.. it will continue without end, as long as the world exists.. furthermore.. all solutions presented rely on anti black instruments to address anti blackness.. a vicious and tortuous cycle that will only produce more pain and disappointment. the good feeling we from hopeful solutions will not translate into freedom, justice, or resolution.. it merely provides temporary reprieve from that fact that black people are not safe in an anti black world.. a fact that can become overwhelming.. the form of anti blackness might alter, but anti blackness itself will remain a constant..
Start living for yourself and stop co-opting experiences that you personally haven't gone through. It's one thing to have empathy but it's another thing to become despondent over some shyt that has nothing to do with you personally.
You need to be able to pick your wars. Thinking you're in a fight against a concept as spacious and abstract as "anti-blackness" is waste of time. If you have to fight then fight for something more concrete.
