Of course, but all I’m asking is to stop projecting their life on the rest of us having a good time. Prolly got younger brehs reading that shyt thinking there’s no hope. There’s ups and down’s, but that’s normal. Once people realize they don’t like their position in life it’s up to them to figure it out by any means.
You say it like it's easy
That's why I said in a previous post timing and luck play a huge part in who gets the upper hand in life

It’s not even about getting the upper hand. It’s putting in the work mentally and physically. Get to a good place in your mind by having gratitude for even waking up. I been through tough ass times, and I promise you people projecting their low vibrations toward others only makes em join em or stay away. shyt aint easy, but we all going through different shyt. If my homie was spoutin off some negative shyt like that I’d be disturbed and doing everything to pick em up. If people truly feel like that they should get some help. Don’t ask me how cause everyones situation is different, but if it’s really that bad they’ll find away. People do it everyday. You have to be disciplined and consistent. It’s hard, but who said it was going to be easy? Insanity is doing the same thing over expecting different results. Time to try something different :yeshrug: All I’m asking is to stop projecting that shyt on us. Life is good. Why is there so much push back with that?!

Speak to me all you want. I said don’t speak FOR me. If your life is shyt just say that. No reason to drag us all in to that grim ass life of yours.
Once again, just about every religion expressed that leaving the physical plane and being closer to/with God is true freedom. Has nothing to with "my/your/his/her grim ass life".

Bruh, my original response was to a grim ass post. Leave me alone. If you have a shytty life great leave me out of it. Stop at’ing me trying to justify low ass vibrations. Not all of us are religious. Sheesh man misery should does love company. Perfect example just follow this chain of messages. I’ma go take a shyt on my toilet that washes and dries my ass for me then hit the sheets :banderas:

I feel what you're saying, but I still believe timing and luck plays a bigger factor than hard work.
I'll just leave it at that

Who says it’s a source comfort? It’s a reminder to have gratitude of how fortunate we are in the positions we find ourselves in. You can look at it from a view of unfairness or a view of how you can be charitable.

Who said the person who walks over the homeless guy isn’t going to get them a sandwich or a hot drink? Not everyone is vanity driven. You can acknowledge the inequality in our society whilst also being grateful you’re in a position where you could help.
Your right :myman: from some of those posts in this thread and on this website in general I can tell alot brehs are not into doing any type of community service work which is too bad because that kind a work can really help your mindstate .

Benefit 1: Volunteering connects you to others

One of the more well-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people, animals, and organizations in need. And volunteering is a two-way street: It can benefit you and your family as much as the cause you choose to help. Dedicating your time as a volunteer helps you make new friends, expand your network, and boost your social skills.

Make new friends and contacts

One of the best ways to make new friends and strengthen existing relationships is to commit to a shared activity together. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, especially if you are new to an area. It strengthens your ties to the community and broadens your support network, exposing you to people with common interests, neighborhood resources, and fun and fulfilling activities.

Increase your social and relationship skills

While some people are naturally outgoing, others are shy and have a hard time meeting new people. Volunteering gives you the opportunity to practice and develop your social skills, since you are meeting regularly with a group of people with common interests. Once you have momentum, it's easier to branch out and make more friends and contacts.

Benefit 2: Volunteering is good for your mind and body

Volunteering provides many benefits to both mental and physical health.

Volunteering helps counteract the effects of stress, anger, and anxiety. The social contact aspect of helping and working with others can have a profound effect on your overall psychological well-being. Nothing relieves stress better than a meaningful connection to another person. Working with pets and other animals has also been shown to improve mood and reduce stress and anxiety.

Volunteering combats depression. Volunteering keeps you in regular contact with others and helps you develop a solid support system, which in turn protects you against depression.

Volunteering makes you happy. By measuring hormones and brain activity, researchers have discovered that being helpful to others delivers immense pleasure. Human beings are hard-wired to give to others. The more we give, the happier we feel.

Volunteering increases self-confidence. You are doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment. Your role as a volunteer can also give you a sense of pride and identity. And the better you feel about yourself, the more likely you are to have a positive view of your life and future goals.

Volunteering provides a sense of purpose. Older adults, especially those who have retired or lost a spouse, can find new meaning and direction in their lives by helping others. Whatever your age or life situation, volunteering can help take your mind off your own worries, keep you mentally stimulated, and add more zest to your life.

Volunteering helps you stay physically healthy. Studies have found that those who volunteer have a lower mortality rate than those who do not. Older volunteers tend to walk more, find it easier to cope with everyday tasks, are less likely to develop high blood pressure, and have better thinking skills. Volunteering can also lessen symptoms of chronic pain and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Benefit 3: Volunteering can advance your career

If you're considering a new career, volunteering can help you get experience in your area of interest and meet people in the field. Even if you're not planning on changing careers, volunteering gives you the opportunity to practice important skills used in the workplace, such as teamwork, communication, problem solving, project planning, task management, and organization. You might feel more comfortable stretching your wings at work once you've honed these skills in a volunteer position first.

Benefit 4: Volunteering brings fun and fulfillment to your life

Volunteering is a fun and easy way to explore your interests and passions. Doing volunteer work you find meaningful and interesting can be a relaxing, energizing escape from your day-to-day routine of work, school, or family commitments. Volunteering also provides you with renewed creativity, motivation, and vision that can carry over into your personal and professional life.

[Read: Building Better Mental Health]

Many people volunteer in order to make time for hobbies outside of work as well. For instance, if you have a desk job and long to spend time outdoors, you might consider volunteering to help plant a community garden, walk dogs for an animal shelter, or help out at a children's camp.

Look I was done with this convo but hear me out. I told that to a wealthy dude one time and he told me “look, luck does play a huge part but someone who put in the work their luck is different than some sitting not making any moves. How lucky can people possibly get when you have no vision, goals or skill?” In other words put yourself in a position so when your luck hit’s the ceiling is high. A homeless persons luck may be find a $100 on the floor or come up on someone laptop in their car? It’s not a science, but that shyt made sense to me :yeshrug:

It’s basically hit me hard how pointless life is. It just seems to me like I’ve got another 50plus years to go and it’s just all pointless. Everyday is the same. Wake up, job, same role, same faces, same conversation. Even if go travelling somewhere, I’ll still have to come back.

It’s not the job, I actually like the job but I keep asking is this really it? Is this what life is all about? :francis:
You need to go somewhere and find some hoes mayne

What do we remember before we were born?

That seems to be where we go when we pass: peace.

The universe existed billions of years before you became conscious, it'll exist for billions of years after this 65-90 years of your life ceases.

As they say, life goes on.

In the meantime, try to treasure the great moments and don't dwell so much on the negative.

Try leave to the world in a better place than where you left it: never know if you have to walk it as the people/creatures you've wronged in the next lifecycle.
